My wife and I conducted our own market survey of both foreign and domestic Premium Crossovers SUV's. We concluded that the Cadillac XT5 Platinum was clearly for us. We bought the Cadillac XT5 Platinum, 14 speaker BOSE Sound system is second-to-none, and we're amazingly satisfied.

We love our Cadillac XT5. Same red colour. It's spacious for our family of four and so quiet and luxurious.

Tried a 2019 XT5 Platinum yesterday and coming from a 2017 Buick LaCrosse Premium with the same engine, I was really not impressed for an $80,000 car, which is more than the price I paid for my first new house 30 years ago. The ride quality of my car is so much better over uneven road or the highway. The same engine is also much smoother in my car. My seats are way more comfortable and I have the massaging feature to boot, seats are hard in the XT5. Moreover my car has less than 30,000 km and already lost more than 50% of its original value in 2 years as a trade-in. Buy the XT5 and your trade-in will only be worth $40k after 2 years, can you afford $20k a year for a car? I can't.

Cadillac used to be proud to call their cars heavy, nowadays, its the opposite

incredible, cadillac has really stepped it up, nicer than anything Lincoln, Infiniti or Acura have to offer by miles. well done to cadillac.

I wish they would offer a 3.0 liter turbocharged V6 instead of a naturally aspirated V6. Okay so I think Cadillac would sell out the competition and be number 1 instead of #2 if they would add 2.0T (standard) 3.6 liter naturally aspirated (optional for any trim) 3.0TT as in the CT6 (Not optional on base model trim)

to bad we can't get a spare tire real problem

nice review. too many gizmos for a D3 car. I don't imagine all the gremlins after the 4th year of ownership

Lease It don’t purchase! Has an auto shut off at full stops where the engine shuts completely off , until foot comes off break. Deadly when in a rotary or round about ...This feature can NOT be disengaged. Slide bar on volume radio is a joke and never works correctly. Ever. Like all their. Vehicles, its way overpriced. Go get a new Nissan Rouge and pay half the price and twice the fun!!

+Oceanic Flight just because you might not be able to afford this does not mean that others cannot. $45,000 for a car isn't out of the ordinary, look how many luxury cars are being sold. I know many people who lease luxury products

I wouldnt say 45K is what most Canadians can afford. Just bc YOU may have the money to buy this doesnt mean everyone can. It goes both ways Zach.

i guess we have a different opinion on what someone can generally afford. i see a TON of chevy cruze, ford focus/fusion, dodge journey, jeep cherokke. not too many XT5.

+Oceanic Flight ... It's not that we cannot afford this vehicule, it has to do with the reputation of Cadillac SUV'S..... Where I live, I see a lot of x3. x5, MB ml, glc, gle and audi's..... and we rarely see XT5 or previous models.... REPUTATION my friend, REPUTATION

European polished look??? Why would anyone want to buy a wanna be. Besides if this car has vertical head lights while all the European cars have horizontal loops Shouldn't it be polished American look? After all European car badges in the front are not that small at all - compare this Cadillac with Mercedes Benz GLC.

You were clearly advertising for Cadillac. Cadillac's SUV division is different from their car division and, unlike their cars, their SUVs are not good at all.
