These superstars did NOT get nearly the recognition they deserve. Its a crime, really.

This couldn’t be more true. These guys truly had something magical around this time period. I was in a band that played a few shows with them at the time, and we all just knew that they were going to be something HUGE. It’s a shame that it played out the way that it did, because I miss these guys so much. And they are still to this day one of my all time favorites that I frequently listen to. The bluegrass world could be very unaccepting at the time. It’s like that line from Back to the Future: I guess you guys aren’t ready for that yet, but your kids are gonna love it.

Have to agree with you there

This is my favorite band , listen to the words of their songs , like watching 1950's tv.as in moral compass !

Outstanding...they bridge the gap between mainstream country and bluegrass but have so much more. It's unfortunate they didn't get along
