Something you are forgetting is that if you are a may order for a 23 model when it switches to the 24 there is a $5000 Credit from Cadillac now I know it's still more money, but it makes it a little more feasible

Good Morning Cadillac Lyriq Enthusiasts. I thought I would share this experience with you all. I have a 2023 Lyriq that was recently converted to a 2024. Since I had to convert to the 2024, I added the 19.2kw charger (which was prevously standard on RWD), and I also added the Panoramic Power Sunroof. Anyway my dealer reached out to me to let me know they had a 2023 Lyriq Debut Edition that I could test drive. Yesterday, I was allowed to take the test drive alone. BTW, those are the test drives which are more informative. I drove it to my house which is about 32 miles from the dealer. I wanted to see if it would fit in the garage. It would not. I am going to have to remove a cabinet so that it will fit. On the opposite side of the garage we have a 2017 Cadillac XT5, so I wanted to also visually see how those two vehicles would fit in the garage. I currently have a 2016 Cadillac ELR, so I also wanted to see how fast it would charge on my existing charger. It would only charge 10 miles per hour, so now I know I will need to upgrade my charger and circuit since I place my order with the 19.2kw charger. It's was nice to be able to see how fast it is charging without having do dig through the infotainment menus. It is displayed on the charging status on the display. I also got a chance to test out the Super Cruise. I did not know what to expect, but it worked flawlessly. I was like a kid in a candy store. I thought I wanted a Lyriq, and now that I have spent 3 hours with one (by myself), I KNOW I want one. I also wanted to compare the sportiness and drive feel of the RWD Lyriq as compared to my 2016 Cadillac ELR which is not a SUV, but has a performance drive feel. The RWD Lyriq has a smooth stiff ride that I feel is comparable to my 2016 Cadillac ELR. I am definitely sold. By the way, the drive mode I primarily drove in was Sport vs. Tour. If any of you have a Lyriq on order but have not had the opportunity to test drive one, you will be happy with it. I was most definitely impressed. I changed my mind a long time ago, I refuse to be played like that. They know some ppl will still buy it but I believe Cadillac is going to lose. A lot of ppl is going somewhere else because they're so many nice cars

Concerns: 1. 19.2kwh (EVSE) 80amp requires a 100amp circuit breaker. Most homes are not equipped. 2. The cost to install is approximately $2,000+. 3. The EVES UNIT cost approximately $1,900 4. The unit is currently unavailable. Estimate availability 2nd quarter 2023. 5. GM pays up to $1,500 does not include the EVSE. 11.5 kwh unit approximately $500. 3rd party units maybe slightly lower 300+. 6. Many homes require installation for the 11.5 kwh 48amp unit. Approximately $500-1500. 48amp should be sufficient for normal use. 7. Delay in shipping the LYRIQ with no notifications.

Hi- I also too did ordered my Lyriq on 5/11/22 - never heard anything from the dealer except that they received my order. Until today, I finally received an email asking me to configure my order for 2024 Lyriq model. It is not so much for the cost but my concern with Cadillac/GM is what quality and support they have for the car. Are they planning to use over the air updates to improve it like Tesla or only to fix problems. Also what is going on? Cadillac should offer an explanation why the delivery and production is so behind and secretive. Are their improvement in the dealership infrastructure and relationship to GM. Why is everyone in the dark up to this point? Also, why is there not much reviews on how it drives, beside feeling comfortable from the press demo reaction on KZread. I am on the fence whether to move forward with GM. Even now, reading your post, the dealerships seem to have different information on rebates and actual costs. I will visit my dealer and ask them what is the actual saving and pricing for me on an AWD luxury model. Also, when is the predicted delivery date for a 2024 model. I live in New England so how well it will perform in the winter is very important.

Question is will the price be the same

I ordered the luxury 2. The opening sunroof was extra, okay. But then I wanted the extra security items. Interior motion sensors and tilt sensors. Only comes with the level 3. So with the added sunroof, the 19.2 charger and floor mat $78,000. So as long as it is below $80,000, then it is still eligible for $7500 federal tax credit. Shortly after I had filled that out the second time I got a notification that would have one in the dealership to look at. And there I was told that dealerships would be handling the orders so, we filled it out again and I put $1000 down on it. But also you have to check the car VIN number to see if the car is eligible for the tax credit because all batteries are not eligible. Depending on where it was built.

You also wanna double check those insurance rates. You could be up for a big surprise.

The only customers will receive the $5,000 rebate our for customers who put their order in on 5/19/2023 for the RWD only the AWD customers will not receive a $5,000 rebate because the AWD was going to be built in the last third quarter of 2023 that's what my dealer told me. I put in an order for the RWD on 5/19/2022 and have already got my $5,000 rebate on the 2024 RWD Lyriq on February 15th 2023 .l already got my workbench order number and Cadillac have already accepted my order..

Range AWD is 308 miles

I put my deposit down in Sept 2022. I just received an email today telling me that I should build my car and production will start on May 8th, 2023. Unfortunately, plan to cancel my order because the price has increased drastically! With a Lux 3 I’d be spending about 85k to pull off the lot. Also in NY to insure this vehicle it will cost $330 monthly. My current insurance on my Grand Cherokee is 120 monthly full coverage. Sorry Cadillac….too expensive.

I got the same thing for what the original price is from is higher. from 65 K to 70K and up. check it out I am not sure as to if we will still pay the original price

It looks like HUD with augmented reality will be an option.

I had to reconfigure my order with my dealer. My replacement order will keep my delivery sequence.

i got the debut , ride fantastic ,, needs few updates and fixes ,,surprising cause they had so much time to test out before they shipped,, but really nice car ,steering wheel cuts off quite a bit of screen , that was a great deal at 59,000

So disappointed in Cadillac. Got lucky last May, and got in on the preorder. Haven’t heard anything from Cadillac since last Aug. email stating all Lyriq’s will be built by the end of the year, with early 2023 deliveries. BS! So glad my Rivian arrived! Just waiting to see where this goes, then I’ll give Caddy and my dealer (with their $5k markup) the big F.U. 🖕🏾
