Nothing unusual here, good or bad. Get a quote from another company with the same coverage. When it comes back less, tell your existing company the price of the other quote(s). They can either match or beat, or you go with the other company. Nine times out of ten they magically find something that will reduce your rate. Just the game that is played.

Brother, I am with USAA, and I purchased a 2018 CT6 3 months ago. My insurance shot up as well. I have a 2016 Silverado , 2021 Telluride Nightfall, and my CT6 and went from 1900+ to 3600+ for 6 months . Something about this CT6 raises insurance. I trust USAA and great coverage. I'm hoping my premium lowers again. I added mt 17 year old to my truck sooo....

The only thing I can think of is that they do not make the CT6 anymore here in the USA and to get parts and repairs from over seas is costly and they are putting the charge into the car owner that is the main reason I got ride of my 2019 CT6 and I love love that car but insurance on it crazy

File a complaint and then contact regional manager for State Farn and air your grievance. Why wouldn't you want to use the available and authorized channels for your complant.

I know where every scratch is for sure. I'm paying $1,147 for six months on a 2019 CT6 Platinum with 4.2TT but I live in Florida which has the highest rates in the US.

Does your area have a Better Business Bureau? Try filing with them maybe they can further direct you to the right place for the answers you need.

Sorry for your troubles. It sounds like your insurance company is not reputable. Your account was probably reviewed over the payouts that had to be made to fix your accident claims due to no fault of your own. Insurance companies like free money without actually doing something for you. You were deemed a financial risk, so they raised your rates. My advice to you is to get yourself another insurance company.

Insurance companies set rates based on the risk that they may have a claim, and if they do, the cost of that potential claim. Expensive cars and ones that may have a high cost for parts, all will cost more. Years ago they used ZIP Codes of where you live to help assess the risk - more history of accidents in that area (bad roads, people driving without licenses and/or insurance , etc) the higher the rate. Now for the most part that has been eliminated because it was considered as being discriminatory. However, they can go through the back door and use your history of claims as a modifier, even if you did not cause the accident. They figure you are driving in a “high risk area” (one that has lots of claims) so they feel they need to charge you more. State Farm is famous for cutting corners on repairs and giving you lists of preferred body shops, telling you they work with that shop all the time and “the claims process will go much faster and you will get your car back sooner”. Some companies will waive all or part of your deductible if you use one of their “approved shops”. In reality, those shops have agreed to discount the repair costs to the insurance company. The shop has to make up that cost difference somehow, so they cut corners with the agreement of the insurance company and the repair quality (and potentially safety) suffers. BTW….in most states you have the legal right to have your vehicle repaired at a shop of your choosing. I would shop around and check reviews. Sometimes the least expensive company is not the best value because of poor service. If you belong to a union or professional organization, they have insurance through partner companies that are reasonable and they monitor how happy their members are with the service and value.
