Cade Cunningham: Wise Beyond His Years
Спорт
Cade Cunningham proved why the Detroit Pistons picked him with the #1 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, having a standout rookie season. Cade has been touted as a generational prospect, and with the Pistons looking to move out of a rebuild, Cunningham is the piece of the puzzle to lead them out of it.
Cade Cunningham's skills are some of the most desirable of any young point guard in the NBA. He possesses otherwordly floor vision, amazing defense, and promising scoring ability. With Saddiq Bey, Jaden Ivey, Isaiah Stewart, Jalen Duren, and the rest of their young core, he's being set up for success.
The Pistons led by Cade Cunningham could become a real threat.

Cade's game is gonna age like fine wine. If he can add a lot more muscle as his game isn't really predicated on speed. Increase his efficiencies. Master his midrange and floaters. Hes gonna be a mvp candidate every season.
Finesse players are always fun to watch more than Explosive players atleast for me
Great breakdown💪🏾, I think his efficiency gone sky rocket because he never really takes dumb shots and he chooses his spots well. He was just missing , which is something that can be corrected and with an off-season of training

My guy couldn’t buy a foul call last year. Was frustrating seeing him attack the basket and never get calls. The reality is that the high efficiency guys are getting to the line. If he starts getting fair calls he’ll probably be averaging at least 5 FTA’s per game. That paired with getting up to at least 35% 3 point shooting should fix the “efficiency issue”.

OFF SEASON WORKOUT, more like he is better into rappin off season than workout. TELL CADE TO CHECKOUT ROTY SCOTTIE BARNES OFF SEASON 😅
Cade Cunningham Has Shown He Has Superstar Potential, has that X-Factor. He is not a superstar yet, and he likely won’t reach that level for a few seasons but one day he will. Also people don't realize what makes Cade special isn't his shooting, passing, size, skill, etc. It's his basketball IQ. In my opinion the dude is in the Lebron, Draymond, Magic, Bird, stratosphere of basketball IQ.

His defense is what impresses me the most because you don't really see that level of effort from a lot of young guards in the league.
Cade is slowly becoming my favorite player
Thank you for touching on his defense. A lot of discourse recently has called Cade a below average defender due to the lineups he was running with Cory Joseph, Saddiq Bey and Jerami Grant, who were not good defenders last year. His one on one situations and willingness to move on defense and be aggressive was a great sign to see
i like Cade and Paolo, they cold and they're going to be league's super stars
Cade plays very methodical as the Point Guard but when he's off ball he's moves like a different player, very aggressive

my favorite part about cade is his ability to get his even on the most prolific defenders in the league! watch him bait and swindle players like embiid, drummond, thybulle vs the 76rs, and then turn around and give players like chris paul and ayton of the suns a show and go in one play. cade just needs to refine, tighten up, strengthen, lock in what he already has. GO PISTONS!

Something u didn’t talk about was how for a rookie cade is very clutch
Cade is already good at this, but dictating the pace of play for a full game is whats next for Cade imo. Just like Luka, LeBron, Jokic, I feel like Cade is about to take that next step in really dictating the flow of a full game, instead of just spots or quarters
Love your work, my man. Thanks for helping us understand this game better.
One of the best breakdowns of Cade's game I've seen. There are a few out there who did quite well. You are one of them.
He is going to have what people think is a break our season, then next year he is going to break out again and then in year four he is going to break out again and be top 10 in the NBA by the end of his 4th season.
Could you do a video on Jordan McLaughlin or tyus Jones, both are smaller guards that both have ridiculous assist to turnover ratios, some people also say it’s because they don’t take risks when pass it, it’d be interesting to hear what you think

This video sold me on Cade. I love the kind of player he is. Focus on Playmaking, getting the team involved and being the Quarterback. Then taking what the defense gives up and scoring off of that. Add in smart and aggressive defense. Wow! Plus, dude looks like Eric Andre. New fav.
Pistons fan, GREAT video man! You made me more of an optimist on Cade’s upside
I've never heard his game laid out so perfectly. 9:05 is SO important and that's what excites me so much about Cade. I was down recently because he'll be out for the season... and it does worry me, but I know if he can just stay healthy he's going to be very good for a long time. He's no MVP, but He's going to be in the upper echelon of talent for as long as he wants to. His game is built for longevity.
You’re like the Brett Koleman of basketball. Low key kind of think you sound like him as well. Keep up the great work!

I think Cade could use a good defensive scheme around him, al la Luka and Jason Kidd's system. They have good enough offensive threats, they just need some Celtics-esque chemistry among them on the other end.
A 6’5” Chris Paul.

If he's so wise how come he turns the ball over 100 times a game, and made no dent on their winning record despite being CONFIDENT they'd make the playoffs? At some point we're going to have to STOP judging people for how they look, how they sound, their eyes, their skin tone, their cadence, and just judge them as basketball players. Cade LOOKS like an All Star. He moves, talks, acts like an All Star. You're forgiven if that makes you SEE an All Star. But there are no All Stars in NBA History who had -0.5 win shares as a rookie.
