Great job clearing up the mess! I'm absolutely delighted the plants have suffered minimal to zero damage and you were able to repair the polytunnel. I've had to use greenhouse repair tape in the past and its still doing its job after a decade. ❤😊 🌵

I'm so glad the ginger cat was ok. Poor little thing, he must've been terrified. I can imagine, being locked in all by yourself, and no one out there can speak your language, you have no idea when or if you'll ever get out. Luckily, succulents, desert and otherwise, are opportunist growers. Thanks Lyn.

I was so happy the poor cat was unharmed it must have been awful for him, I kept finding clumps of his fur on the plants, I have seen him since running around in our neighbours front garden and he seems to be doing well, thanks so much Marie for your wonderful comment and support and for watching, sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER for a terrific Thursday XXXX

Monumental effort to get things sorted out! If there is a silverlining, it would be that your plants dont need to be repotted immediately! Yes, a huge relief to get this done. WOW, what a huge difference already, you have both obviously been SUPER busy since the big disaster, Lyn and Hans! It is all really looking so much better already, WOW I have to say, fantastic job! And I really like how you have fixed the polytunnel with those custom-tailored, cut pieces of extra plastic foil and the special tape! Brilliant solution my friends! Also, hugely impressive, the fast cleanup of all the pots and plants that were spread all over the floor of the polytunnel just a week ago! Hope you both manage to get a bit of a rest over the coming weekend ahead! Sending you lot's of cactus greetings and strength for the final clean-up steps, and best wishes over to you both on the beautiful Emerald Isle!

Awwwww thanks so very much Joe, its been such a relief to get the tidying up done in there and I still have some of the plants left to pot back up but its much tidier now, the polytunnel repair tape and the extra cover has been brilliant for covering up the holes and tears, thankfully I have today until Tuesday off from work now and I will be able to catch up with all the potting from the ones that fell out their pots, I definitely think the next time we replace our polytunnel we will go for a polycarbonate greenhouse as they are much more solid, the covers on these polytunnels are not as good as we hoped, we get a lot of sea birds and other big birds land on the roof and although they are cute their claws go right though the cover haha, thanks so much Joe for your wonderful Friendship and amazing comment and support and for watching, and Hans and I are sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER to Bavaria for a fantastic afternoon and upcoming weekend XXXX

Sorry about your misfortune. Glad you are making good repairs and kitty is okay. We put an extra door in our tunnel that is just wire for hot days( we have alot of wildlife) . Your plants are beautiful!

Sorry this happened to you, but you’re so positive and hardworking. It is really looking great! My dog was sniffing around my newly potted old lady cactus and it attached to the fur on her face, so it came out of the pot and was hooked on her 😱. My husband was like, what is on her face lol. I grabbed some tongs and slowly pulled it off. She was fine, thankfully she has long hair. Animals are so curious, especially cats, they end up getting themselves in some really sticky situations. ☺️

😱 If that happened to me I would have a mini heart attack, sadly, cats and potted plants are not compatible, they can be very mischievous, I keep them as far as I can from my collection, however, on rare occasions my cat manages to sneak into the greenhouse with his ninja cat skills.

Hi Lyn that looks better now. I bet it's lovely sitting in the pollytunnel to eat. Omg I'm so happy she kept all her buds and is showing you her gorgeous flower's. I must admit I used Google picture on her flower's and it had multiple I'ds of "Wendy" so I trusted that it was correct. I do have multiple chamaelobivia plant's but they all have deep red flower's this one is a pale pink. But I would definitely love her proper name as I've called her Wendy for a few years now hahahaha 😆 😂 she needs her proper I'd 🩷. I am a freelancer and work as a Film and TV extra and also as an Artist model and a Holistic therapist too, I absolutely love it, and try to fit in as much as I can haha, it can be quiet in winter, but this time of year it can be very busy with film work and with 12-15 working hours a day, but its amazing and so much fun and thrilling, thanks so much Marie for your wonderful Friendship and amazing comments and support and for watching, sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER for a fantastic Thursday today XXXX
