Materials:
3 pieces of square 20 gauge dead soft wire, 10 inches long each
24 gauge half-round dead-soft wire(no need to measure and pre cut, just keep it on the spool and use as needed)
1 cabochon, mine is a teardrop Labradorite about 44mm tall
All my wire is dead-soft bare copper from www.RioGrande.com

Beautiful pendant! The link on your FB page tries to link to www. and then it just constantly spins, but if I remove the www. then it becomes just the http and your website opens right up. No matter what I did with the FB link your website wouldn't open for me. Hope this helps because if it isn't just something I did wrong then everyone clicking on your FB website link won't get to the website.

Thinking of trying wire wrapping, but how do I keep bright look of wire? I know they can be sprayed with different products to help with tarnishing, but it seems I would not want that spray on cabachons. How do I keep jewelry from turning users skin green or getting black marks?

I darken the copper on purpose, this gives it that dimensional antique look. If you wanted your copper to remain the bright shiny color you would need to clean it often. I have not had a problem with a pendant turning my skin green.

@@OxanaCrafts yes, I understand that you wanted the darker look, and it's beautiful. But if someone preferred the bright look of copper, I know the wire wrapping can be sprayed. I know the stone itself doesn't tarnish, but would spraying the finished wire wrap have a negative or damaging effect on the stone the wire is wrapped around?
