A cab ride from Angerstein Wharf ( Charlton ) to Crayford A Spur Junction, a Class 66 hauling 2127 tonns, we pass the following stations, Charlton, Woolwich Dockyard, Woolwich, Plumstead, Abbeywood ( new station ), Belvedere, Erith, Slade Green. sorry for poor sound in places...

Another great video. Through the down platform at Charlton round the bend and briefly fall under the watchful eye of Charlton Lane Gate Box. Headlights Marker Lights check Wheel sets all in good order.check Load Secure. Check Tail Lamp present and correct. Usually on the seess side bracket Away you go old girl.
Nice to hear that EMD work. I run them in the US and Canada.

F.M. That must get right up your nose! Run up to a red light that turns green just as you come to a stop !! Another great video shakes and noise is all part of being a freight train driver

Thank you for posting this :) I was so delighted to discover this Angerstein crossing (at the start of the video) last year. after having discovered the Charlton Lane level crossing a couple of years before. Now on seeing your video I discover there's a *third* crossing (at 3m 32s) that links the Police's car pound at Charlton with what I assume is an overflow carpark, as the crossing doesn't seem to be public. Can I ask - what are you carrying? I haven't quite worked out if the trains are empty leaving Angerstein and off to collect stuff from elsewhere (possibly to fetch something from Bardon Hill Quarry) or if they're carrying stuff FROM Angerstein to other places. And are there other crossings between where you're starting the video going BACK to the wharf? Thanks :)

Hi there are no more crossings towards the wharf, trains leave the wharf loaded with sea dredged sand, one of their destinations is Woking Down yard...

the sound was not as bad but the vibrattion on the camera was horrid
