CAAMFest PBS Plague at the Golden Gate - San Francisco Asian Female Filmmaker Attends Preview

Спорт

A 4-minute preview of my vlog about attending "Plague at the Golden Gate" a PBS American Experience documentary about the Bubonic Plague in San Francisco Chinatown at the turn of the 20th Century.
[Update: You can now stream the full-length documentary on PBS' website:
www.pbs.org/wgbh/americanexpe...
This feature premiered on KQED (or your local PBS station, if you're outside of SF), on May 24, 2022. We got to see some advance cuts as part of CAAMFest's first full day of live programming at The Great Star theatre in Chinatown.]
I also attended 3 Asian film panels (via webcam) on Wednesday, while drafting 6 views of the tattoo I outlined and started shading/coloring on Thursday. I definitely work too much and always have.
But look how fast I have gotten at archiving and editing!
This would have gone a lot faster if I didn't decide that it also needed original music for the soundtrack (very out-of-practice pizzicato 3/4 size violin in an arrangement by a Chinatown composer, but my action is too low on the G-string, hence the buzz. No time to buy a new bridge and file it to fit.), but I still finished this highlights reel and am uploading it within 9 hours from when I got home from filming it.
[Added: Just noticed in the credits, that the Chung Sai Yat Po/Voice Of Chinatown was Perry Yung, who I interviewed before. Interview is posted on this channel now.]
