Sold my 2012 GS Crystal Red Tint Coat with just under 24,000 miles to CARMAX last Apr and just purchased a black 2007 Z06, one owner, no accidents, garage kept with only 13,167 miles. The Z06 is a blast to drive compared to the GS...

Congrats! What a find! I've to find my way into a Z06 sometime. Looks like a great time. Enjoy!

3497lbs for a GS, isn’t super lightweight, BUT is pretty light. Especially by modern standards. Most the current American muscle cars are all well over 4,000lbs.

Yeah, I agree it's not super heavy in general, and I wouldn't call it a muscle car if I were to do this video over again today. For a 2-door sports car, I'd still say it's on the heavier side. I remember it feeling very slow off the line.

The weight is anywhere from 3289 to 3311, based on being a 1LT up to a 4LT.

@@trevorgarrett7602 It's not, ha. I've driven a lot more cars and learned a lot since this comment. It feels like it's lacking low-end torque, so it's slower off the line than the cars that I'm used to. Again, if I were to do this over again, this video would be waaay different.
