GM part # 16267411. I got one from ebay for $35. Vettenuts also sells them, but out of stock at the time of this comment. Make sure to get the complete assembly, not just the sensor bit. I'm changing mine for the same reason - clips broken.

I got mine from VetteNutz. You may have to call them. It’s not a common item to stock.

Nice repair. You made it look easy...sometimes plastic has a mind of its own.

Highly recommend the elite enginnering heel toe gas pedal and dead pedal.

What’s the part#

Is this sensor present on all c5 corvettes? Working on a 2000 but I don't see any sensor there nor do I see any wire connection once the panel is removed. Not sure if the trim level matters, this one might be a base model

The mystery begins then 🤣. The dealer recently replaced the ignition switch so I assume the tech had to work in that area. Guess I have to take out the whole trim piece including the center console to figure where the heck the sensor went but it's definitely not there like shown in your video

What is the part number? When you get a chance please it would be so helpful.

Nothing. The plastic tabs were broken.

That bottom panel is a pain and putting the bottom screws in is worse.

Yep, was a real pain putting it back together without destroying the sensor!

Had to replace mine too man, that was the cure. So what Corvette stuff did you get for Christmas Chris? Some of us viewers out here would be interested to know.

Not to mention he is just about flat out of ideas on what else to do with the car. So one day while starting it he looked over and said what the heck is that? The answer was simple. KZread video. 😀
