That propeller driven airplane photo bombed your video! Plus it made a bunch of noise which drowned out the sound of the TF-39s spooling up to full power.... Someone should have told that pilot to wait until the C-5 Galaxy took off...

that prop plane should have waited until the C-5 was gone before he started his up.

Remember one, I think was the first time into Whenuapai, after Triad in '76, Provosts closed Brigham Creek Road by Trigg Rd, was foggy Saturday morning and eastern half was shrouded in fog, hearing her winding up those jets and as she came out of the fog and slowly climbing out....

c5 taking of from Christchurch airport new zealand

Those were the days we had a great open viewing deck, I mean a large area of viewing and then they rebuilt the airport and we lot it all, the design is poor coming to the airport terminal , but one day maybe they will change it and have a viewing deck again?? at least though more international airlines flying in and out of Christchurch now. but need a direct USA flights again and maybe either direct korea or Japan flights then pretty good to add in the future?

This must have been the last C5 in chch,havent seen one since. Especially with the old engines. Saw one flying over a couple years ago

All C-5s recently completed overhaul and that includes new engines.
