Old wrench here who finally bought my C5 vette. Great to see all the videos of guys who were inspired to start wrenchin cause they got a C5.
Enjoyed the video. I'll probably leave mine as stock height only because I'm in the UK and we have a lot of speed bumps to deal with. That said I'm tempted to put new bolts on like the one's you've shown here. 🇬🇧

I recommend it even if you leave it at the same ride height. I had an OEM bolt snap while I was doing about 85 on the highway and that was not fun at all. Did some research and evidently it was a pretty common issue and GM actually recalled them which I suppose my car never had done back then. Got some of these and they're great for lowering and a perfect alternative to the faulty bolts because you get fresh bushings with them.

Good video super helpful, but you can save a little money and time if you just lower on stock bolts, just as low if you spend 5 minutes modifying the front bolts.
What's your measurements after you lowered it
What tires do you run on your car...sizes?
What size f14s are those?

Definitely could use those specs.. especially the offset. Picking up some F14s this month for my C5 and love your fitment.!
Hey man great video, is it necessary to remove all that stuff on the front to get to the bolt? Fuck that looks like a pain in the ass...

Yeah the leaf spring won’t allow for enough room to remove the bolt…
