C4D Tutorial - Add Animated CGI Dominoes to Real Video Footage [Redshift & After Effects]

In this #c4d #redshift tutorial we are going to be compositing falling dominoes into real video footage.
The footage can be downloaded here as an image sequence:

The dominoes models can be downloaded here:

We will learn how to slightly increase the size of each of the dominoes sequentially so that we can have a small dominoe at the start and a huge one at the end.
We will also be using Pyro to create a burst of dust when the last dominoe hits the ground.
Once we have everything set up we will be using the Redshift Object tag to make our CGI blend in with our video footage along with setting up the lighting and making some tweaks to the Dominoes Redshift materials to add a bit more to the realism and believability.
Finally we will be rendering everything out and bringing it all into After Effects to add the finishing touches.

Thanks a lot!! Fantastic video. A compilation of tricks and knowledges (time scale in bullet in mind-blogging :) . I have a questions , please.: exist in redshift option 'matte reflection ', in the way that there is a 'matte shadow' in Redshift Object --Matte , in order to just see shadow and reflection in a floor. Also would be interesting, for another video, how to export separately object, shadow, reflection in redshift (in starndard you can use multipass...) Thank you very much!

Do you have Maxon One?
i did everything you did but mine is not look as good as yours and objects are moving with camera movements and it breaks to realistic look can you help me with that ?

The only thing I can think of is to check your FPS settings in both After Effects and C4D... Did you se the fps to 24 at the start? Is your comp 24fps? In C4D is your fps set to 24 in your render settings & your project settings? Is your Preview in After Effects set to 24fps?

had the same issue, in you C4D projects set your frame rate to 30 fps, even though I had set the 24 fps all through, setting the fpos to 30 in porjects settings fixed my issues and the track worked perfectly
