I'm about to do this on my 72, but I cant believe this is really the way to do this? It felt like you had to take apart half the car and be two people to install a stupid radio? Must be an easier way.

No it didn't. Just an external amp.

Its not like a 1977 Corvette mine four screws in the center and i never had the side of the dash apart because my Corvette is a original cassette player with am fm from BOSE for my Corvette its doses say Delco Gm on it

77 is easier but 77 Corvettes also have their own unique items.

@@Corvette-Dan yes they do but this one is more different then any other 1977 my grandpa got me this car when I was only 16 years old and I am related to Louise Chevrolet so it was custom ordered nothing a normal Corvette has on it this one is really loaded with things you can't even get on any Corvette at all

painful to watch. you are the proverbial bull in a china shop. the radio must be supported from the back. put a piece of styrofoam under the rear of the radio to keep the stress off the radio stems.
