The alerts are part of the vibe tbh. It feels like a stream that's just had the most extraneous parts taken out so the interactions between chat and frost have a lot more room to air as opposed to needing my full attention at all times or I won't understand half the video

On a side note I've had to catch a snake before as well as only ever having real big dogs and like. Animals are very very dangerous. Please do not think you are invincible in comparison, we've spent millennia allowing ourselves to be as lazy as possible, you probably can't fistfight a deer.

This is genuinely one of the best runs I have seen in quite some time. Amazing run and a claw run that just happened to pop off.

I've actually grown to like the alerts, it gives the videos a bit more character. I'm sure there are plenty of STS youtubers they can go watch that don't have alerts if it bothers them that much.

I’ve taken a liking to the alerts at first I thought they were annoying but now I enjoy seeing a treat tornado take up my screen

I was so disappointed when he didn't take those 2 Impatience and even removed a Defend over a strike. Impatience in a deck full of 0 cost attacks is so good!

the problem is the strikes, you draw into your strikes and you now have to play them or you have a dead card

Idk about OBS, but XSplit's Broadcaster program (specifically) can save a local recording of the stream. And there's a video format it can use that, iirc, saves the archive as a series of individual components. So every source you have in the recording is a separate part of the file that can be omitted during editing/rendering. Granted it's been a WHILE since I looked into this bc I haven't needed to do this really (I haven't set stream alerts back up for a good few years, so there's not enough reason to use this feature). Basically, if anyone knows the feature I'm talking about and can link to/write a more accurate explanation, that'd be greatly appreciated.

Personally, I like the alerts, feels more like I'm in the moment Also, one day I want to see the entire hype train alert line up, since its pretty cool concept

some people have suggested different layers for streaming and recording which may be possible, but it also may be possible to run 2 instances of OBS, one for streaming, one for recording.

Yo, I don't mind the alerts, but you 100% can hide them without a separate PC, at least as of the last time I used OBS/Streamlabs. Different viewing layers can be captured by playback and recording settings. This may have changed since I last used it, so I could be wrong.

This was an amazing run from frost. This run also shows how good/bad apo can be in early game and end game. In end game that card upgraded 8 cards and they were not that usefull, but at the start to mid game i felt like it was one of the win cons in fights (also early egg)

As a KZread viewer I personally love all the alerts, my job currently does not let me watch Frost's streams live and witnessing all the alerts make me feel part of it in some way.

Reprogram has given me my favorite defect deck. I relic swapped, got nuclear battery and a floor one reprogram. Removed my zap and got an upgraded fusion. Found another reprogram the end of act 3. Multiple skims, 2 claws and a all for one. 👌

I use OBS for streaming at work, and there is a way for vanilla OBS to record in two separate instances. I do it so I can record a version that includes music, but hide that music in the live stream. All on one computer. Now for my comment to get buried under the claw comments XD.

ill be honest... the money talk during the run makes me wonder what the operating costs are for frosts stream/yt (editor, probably legal and taxes help and maybe other stuff?) given that the number top left represents at least 15k per month in income (could be more depending on the split, but last i heard thats the lowest split) on its own... so im wondering how much frost actually gets from that in any case - claw is law! good to finally see a claw run again without chat forcing him XD

i actually think alerts *aren't* intrusive enough. I think we need to pause the gameplay and focus the screen solely on the alert when it pops up for a better experience
