I mean, it did back in 2007 - 2009, but because it had the most remixes (and started getting "bases" of its own), I guess you could say it became its own thing.

I've been listening to YTPMVs for like a decade or so now so I recognized a lot of these (not only the tunes but also some of the YTPMVs being shown on screen). I knew like, 90% of the material here, songs AND videos. I feel like a freaking internet deity XD This was quite possibly one of the most fabulous YTPMV medley/compilations I've seen. And you'd be surprised at how many I've seen. 5/5 totally worth the weight!

Wow, I haven't watched this video in close to 10 years probably and I still was able to remember which song was next in almost every case, truly an excellent and memorable video

This is the true final boss theme of the intnernet.

Fantastic medley. I recognized almost every song in it, which is what one would normally prefer in a medley. Plus I also recognized the majority of the non-pony videos used. Great tribute video to YTPMVs.

Man, this was really amazing, put a tear on my eye. Shame you missed some other popular YTPMVs (UN Owen was Her, VVVVVV musics, Intensive Unit, Rainbow Tylenol, Why I'm waiting on a X) but that doesnt makes it any less amazing.

i made a list of the most used sources: 10th place: Super smash Bros (4 times) 9th/8th place: Animes and Spongebob (6 times) 7th place: octagon guy (7 times) 6th place: old spice (8 times) 5th place: other videogames (11 times) 4th place: Team Fortress (14 times) 3rd place: other (no other catagory or not very clear) (18 times) 2nd place: My little pony (19 times) 1st place: other TV sources (no films, they are in ,,other'') (30 times) My rules were:At a mix, the majority, then, if the majority isn't clear, it lands in ,,other'' All the big pictures(like at My little Pony Intro, when Spongebob and Patrick were frigthened or Snoop Dog) ads themeself twice the points...

😯Hey wait a minute... you guys are right! I myself forgot the true meaning of ytpmv, a collection of video splices put into an ORIGINAL beat or melody to make music! Not just splices for songs we all know (much less placed over as a four-way in collections of samples)

I want to hear all these ytpmvs. Not this DDR garbage that's replaced the audio >:(

I honestly wish people stop calling this kind of video YTPMV. I simply don't understand how a great video like this can be called by the word "poop" when someone put so much effort in it. Isn't MAD or MV good enough? Anyway, wonderful compilation. It was nice seeing back all these videos in one big medley. A real piece of art.
