Who would hv thought a) to pick on a subj as this.. b) tht these cast iron pans n skillets are indeed unusually demanding despite their presumptuous macho rugged looks c) the techniques in seasoning/breaking ( term more used for Shoes/Footwear n also while taming wild animals !) them n the times rinse n repeat if they don't yield..woww ?! And not that I hv seen Indian kitchens first hand but I hv looked around in utter fascination in some of the Kitchenware (stainless steel) shops (some are even called Emporiums truly !) in the country to be gobsmacked by the endless array of pots pans n vessels of all metals n shapes n sizes ! And now to think of how they need to be cared n maintained for...after seeing this ?! I quitt.. haha ! Thanks n cheers Indu..! ( PS where do u live u said.. ? One could pick ur brains I say.. haha...U sure do hv one !)
