C'mon MSI 😞 // Asus Zephyrus M16 Vs MSI Creator Z16

The MSI Creator Z16 vs Asus ROG Zephyrus M16. Which laptop works best for video editing, graphic design, photo editing, 3D modeling, After Effects, and Architecture. ►⏩►⏩ Check specs and pricing in the links below…
💻 Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 ( geni.us/ZephyrusM16-DR - Commission Earned )
💻 MSI Creator Z16 *RTX 3060 ( geni.us/CreatorZ16-3060-i7-DR - Commission Earned )
I was really excited to get my hands on the MSI Creator Z16 this year. However, while testing the latest creator laptop from MSI I was disappointed in the trackpad, fan noise, and even the performance. I thought this laptop would perform at a higher level with the performance specs that it comes with. I like the aluminum build quality, large 16-inch screen, but overall I would not say this laptop impressed me.
On the other hand Asus gaming laptop, Asus ROG Zephyrus M16, not claiming to be a creator laptop really impressed me in regards to performance, build quality, trackpad, battery life, and thermal regulation.
Both laptops are well suited for 4k video editing, design, photo-editing in Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, 3D Modeling, After Effects.

    9:12 Why would the 4k (on battery) premiere pro 🤔 jump up in export time SO much? UPDATE: Also, THANK YOU so much for this video! I am between the MSI Creator, Zephyrus, Razer and Omen, oh AND Now ZenBook Pro Duo...(maybe others)... I am wanting the right one the 1st time, we got a desktop for Adobe and games and it gives me errors even though the Best Buy guys said "are trying to hack the pentagon" we were just wanting 2 32g and the highest gpu available at the time (really lost our trust). Glad I found BenG!!! Oh! And I don't know if I am the only one but, do you explain what the 1st bench marks are, in any videos? Like Cinebench and Geekbench

    I wish you had some kind of document/web page with the cumulative result of your battery life tests for comparison. Would be kind of nice to have some context around that critical piece of information.

    Hi! To be relevant, the test charts must contain also the graphic card used, not only the cpu. Also the batery test, if this a comparision, it is better to have in the same window the both results, not separate. The same is for the fan noise and thermals.

    Hi mate . If you don't know , the m16 also has the option of intel i7 11800h. The intel i7 11800h on the M16's chassis has the same score of the i9 11900h. I really think that the MSI Z16 has a lower power ( TDP) limit than M16 cuz of the heat and fan noise thus lower scores. I've seen quite a few other laptops brands running the i7 11800h and they are having similar scores as the i9 11900h, this is not just Asus.

    As a content creator who exclusively uses an MX Master 3 and/or Wacom pad when working, the trackpad on the Z16 was a non-factor for me. The overall build quality and design of the Z16 was far and away better than its competitors, and that's why I chose it (11900H version, 32 GB RAM). Loving the content, Ben. In-depth and comprehensive. You are a definite YT go-to.

    I have the i9 z16 and I use the same mouse. Plus my computer has a touch screen so I hardly ever use the track pad so it wasn't an issue for me. Plus the benchmarks in the video were an i7 z16 to an i9 M16 which I'm sure the i9 z16 would as fast or faster than the M16.

    @Adam Galovič Meh... the i9 can keep up in productivity with the R9, it beats it when gaming and (strangely) runs cooler. It just loses a bit on energy efficiency but it got much much better than 10th gen. Moreover gives you TB4 and PCi 4.0. I really don't see why it would be a waste of money

    Fan always spinning on a laptop is the biggest annoyance for me. Can't imagine choosing MSI because of this (and the glossy screen). Also if you're a creator and you're saying the trackpad is a non-factor, you're just defending a company that cheaped out. Even as a creator you'll be using that laptop occasionally for regular tasks and I can tell you that at those moments the big trackpad (I have a G15) is the best thing your laptop can possibly be equipped with.

  • @Virtual-Media
    @Virtual-Media2 жыл бұрын

    I'd prefer a bigger top speaker than a big trackpad, and what serious creator uses a trackpad? benchmarks were pointless when comparing an MSI I7 to an ASUS I9. serious creators using trackpads- no issues. Agreed - glossy screen ruined the MSI.
