Domenico Scarlatti (1685-1757) empreendeu sua vasta obra no auge do período barroco. Inúmeros pianistas e cravistas incluíram em seus repertórios as sonatas de Scarlatti. A beleza estética da obra do compositor também atraiu a atenção dos guitarristas clássicos. Andrés Segóvia, Julian Bream, John Williams e aqui no Brasil os irmãos Assad, entre muitos outros, fizeram ótimas transcrições de suas peças para o instrumento. Cécile Cardinot interpreta a sonata K380, uma das minhas favoritas, de forma perfeita. O trabalho de mão direita é cuidadoso proporcionando alternância de timbres. A peça também exige da mão esquerda vários glissandos com notas pinçadas em espaço curto de tempo, o que Cécile faz de maneira precisa e muito bem acabada. Interpretação excelente. elle joue merveilleusement bien, performance tout à fait normale, elle était mon prof. de conservatoire guitare classique, elle m'a préparé (en classe de fin 2nd cycle) pour passer mon examen de passage en 3ème cycle, réussi avec succès
