Byun's definitely built different, a 4th base being an orbital not a planetary, expanding to a forward base on post youth and just good'ol marines and medivacs

Could Terran just be too good? I feel like there might be something not exactly right in a strategy game, when a player is 100% going to go for the same unit composition even when the opponent knows they're going to go for it and tries their best to counter exactly it, and the offending player doesn't care what the opponent is going to build, they're still going to go with marines + medivacs. And also unit composition being just tier 1 units mostly with just healing from air.

Me frantically taking notes to plan : "Just make a bunch of marines and go for it" Me an hour later rage quitting "Fuck this game!"

Have missed byun since last watching, he was one of the best of the revival era (say 3-4 years ago, just after he came back from service)

When I first stumbled upon winter casting StarCraft, I thought it was a joke because I thought he was pretentious and annoying. Now I f#%king love him. 5 mules and its 60 scv’s. Mule is the ultimate imba. I cant recall how many times i got terran economy down and lost the game and on the replay i just saw mules dropping like crazy, owning my eco despite the damage i have done.

When you split your army and go for a counter attack, it means that your defensive army is weaker. If you split off too much, the two smaller chunks get crushed by the larger army. The economy needs time to build up more units. If a massive army is at your door now, but it takes time to match it, it's gg.

zerg game that isn't Dark? Are we sure this is Winter?

I'm gonna get hated on but terran needs a 0.3 second time delay on each unit picked up by medevac. Protoss prism is cool.

Why don’t we see more infestors in mid game with hydra/ling/bane to lock down the bio stim and medivacs? It even does AOE damage. I know fungal got nerfed a while ago but good lord watching banes and lings constantly running into a mobile bio buzzsaw hurts my Zerg soul.

Since infestor nerf there is no way to lock down marine medivac, it's quite sad watching mm out value even siege tanks and that's why we're still exclusively watching marine spam for 20 years vs hydra Ling bane queen lurker flying infestor

There’s a glob of bio. Infestors have 9 range now. You press the fungal button then you A move your army and smash them. They can’t get into medivacs while fungaled. What am I missing?

1. Reason that i can think of is that you need infestation pit for that. Which comes into play too late usually (past pure marine medivac phase). At this point they have tanks, they have marauders, which pop infestors like baloons if targeted. Granted, usually they manage to use fungal before dying, but you need at least 2 fungals usually and infestors are too gas-heavy to be using them like banelings. 2. When you get infestation pit, you probably want to get hive immediately, either lurker den or spire depending on your chosen tech, followed by vipers. All this costs gas, on top of constanly refilling banelings, not mentioning 3/3. Many players simply can't afford infestors, or decide that delaying everything above for that is simply not worth it. might be wrong, that's my take on it.

I guess I have them available faster because I prefer early lair and gasses rather than having a ton of drones and queens on mineral economy that just get waxed by said 50 marines

all they need to do is nerf the medivac. it is kind of ridiculous the amount of units that can be healed via the medivac and get into the medivac. like transformed hellion getting heals but vehicle mode doesnt? the fact that units instantly jump into the medivac like a warp prism instead of one at a time. the speed of the boost and how easy it is to GTFO....its insane. u nerf the medivac just a bit and that all marine push is significantly lessened.

Well terran is blatantly OP, so they deserve it

Hypothetical characters in place of in game units. Jimmy is winter but is just him looking off screen. Brenda is the hive queen. Kind of an odd disconnect to have.
