Byron Katie - I thought God didn't answer my prayer

I took the above picture in my garden, however, I do not own the copyright to the recording of Katie doing the work with people. They are from old tapes, CDs and downloads that were free for sharing and the quality is not the best. I'm uploading them with the intention that they still might be able to bring peace to some of you. For other recordings please see this playlist: • Byron Katie - Old tape...

It's wonderful that we can't see the participants..we just hear their truth.🙏❤

Thank you. There is so much in here that is precious and wise and true and helpful. And then there is this woman's healing, and the healing of those who were listening open-heartedly. How wondrous! Such "clean, clear work," said one listener who was invited to give feedback. Yes. "Uncensored courage," said another. The best! "Intelligence, integrity, and character," said a third listener." Isn't it true? "Magnificent," said a fourth. That sums it up! The woman who was doing the Work seemed surprised that so many would be so grateful to her, bemused that they would have responded so profoundly to the way she stepped into her Work, but we truly had no choice. What Katie told her summarizes what happened to those of us who went along for the ride: "When you're doing the work," she said, "we're in the presence of truth, and that is healing." Yes. "We are lovers of truth," noted Katie, "and when we see you hit it, we join you there. We're called the human race."

Byron says we don't choose our thoughts...does she ever say where the thoughts come from?

I would love to hear her answer to that. 👍 Are our lives planned out before our birth and we are downloaded with specific thoughts at different times in our lives to fulfill certain destinies? 🤔

@@twitterbug9134 I would love to hear her answer that as well. I came from the belief we chose the thoughts that ran in our heads but she makes a great point that they are running through our minds as soon as we wake up...before we even have time to decide to think.
