I used the shift+F10 option but firstly called up the network manager to disable the wi-fi first, just to be sure. Then used the oobe and finally re-enabled the wifi adapter once setup was complete. Of course I then had to spend the next hour uninstalling all of the bloatware on the new laptop.

Glad there's a way around this bs as I don't have an msn acct.

After watching the three methods why would anyone bother with anything other than Option 3 !

And if you buy a new laptop with Windows 11 pre-installed? That is the reason for the other options.

There is quite a few pro's and cons. I would suggest doing a quick google search to see all of the reasons why.

One thought: You have succeeded in bypassing Microsoft Account creation. Surely the GB of telemetry sent by the computer to Microsoft and partner companies will still be sent out so your activities will still be tracked. Ideally you need to block the telemetry before you connect the computer to the internet.
