update : i switch went back oo Godox disappointed westcott was too fragile i sent three lights with 6 month i was done back to my favorite light oof all time ad200 i stay with GODOX the ecoo sysytem just right

my friend is a Westcott ambassador so i've used these lights a bit..my biggest peeve is the off camera trigger...i hate rolling a button and pressing it, i feel it's not responsive enough like the godox trigger. aside from that, it's so hard to give up the ad200 and ad300, even the 100 for that matter lol...godox has established a geat ecosystem for everybody, but the perception is there for Westcott, that they're nicer, sleeker, etc. personally, i've shot both, and i've already invested so much in godox to make the jump.

i can tell u this i shot already 2 weddings with Westcott a GAME CHANGER i don't car how much im invested with GODOX all i know the quality of west cott is amazing i feel like im shooting with profoto lol Im an ex profoto shooter now my speedlight do not wobble like god ox also i can finally chat with a real customer service i do not care for price this lights are way cheaper than profoto so is not even bad im already in love with these lights i can used them with my Westcott modifiers which are so nice but GODO is great hold you head up High my friend GODOX rocks BUt u have a new sheriff in town name Westcott lol and i love it quality of light man ROCKS is all good brother all good

@@HectorRiveraPhotography yeah man, can’t beat Godox. I’ve been using the same system for 5 years including the Glow modifiers. Very happy with them.

Does the new Nano trigger from Flashpoint work with westcott? or do they have something similar?

Not sure... I don't think so But i return the westcott went back to godox i din not like the build quality of the westcotts to fragile i send three lights with a year for repair i was done back to godox my favorites lights of all time AD200

I bought this reading the reviews of everyone giving positive feedback. I tried to ignore the negative feedbacks because i thought maybe they are just cheap and want a refund or something; but the negative feedbacks were actually not wrong. Westcott has to address their negatives. Some SERIOUS negatives. The build quality is actually REALLY bad. God I wanted to like this flash because it had a good price and looks decent in pictures and videos, but it is different when you actually have it in hand. Think of it as those fake replica Gucci handbags in China town market. The plastic build is actually Walmart plastic standard. Maybe worse (which is why it feels like it will just break off flying with a bit of bad luck hitting this gigantic flash on a wall or something). Also the angle of how the LCD Display tilts around 75 degrees down instead at 90 degree makes the hotshoe feel like it will break is just terrible. It feels very unstable and easily breakable with force. I am being very careful. I know this sounds crazy, but for this price, I recommend saving a little more and get Profoto. Atleast Profoto will last you a long time. Note that the reviews where it says on the hotshoe it will wobble, they are ALL true. It wobbles like a bobble head. That is just how these units a built. Wait until atleast they release maybe FJ80IIIM or FJ80IIIS fixing these issues. Otherwise, go Profoto. You guys can thank me later.

i think the hot shoe wobbe is really the sony mount not sure how’s profoto ? sooedliggt ?

@@HectorRiveraPhotography I feel you. It is really not fair to us photographers. Build quality comes with a cost. These are also not weatherproof. In harsh weather conditions, bad rain can destroy these units. I learned the hard way. I had 3 Godox, and 1 Westcott. Price of those 4 are the same as 1 Profoto. Mount for Profoto is really great. It doesn't wobble, solid light with powerful build. I got sold by Westcott's advertising campaign. The videos make it look SO GOOD!!! I wanted that, but these actors and photographers are being sponsored to say positive feedback. It's a total bs. The plastic build with 75 degree angle with poor shoe mount needs to be fixed. The flash features are good though. It is the just build quality that makes me go... WTF. Such potential with such poor build manufacturing.

How the experience with this new flash after 5 months?

there great one thing i’ve notice that there super reliable omg hardly never missfires. the only thing is that the fj400 are very fragile the screen i already broke one the screen u have to be careful had to send to repair but was a quick turnaround u actually have real customer service and the trigger also broke the screen that’s the only problem u have to be extra careful lol it goes through my mind if i should go back to godox because of that i miss the ad200 there were strong as far as that. but yea man this are the real deal just have to protect the lights weatcott does not have a protection runner like the godox have they need one asap lol what are u using

@@HectorRiveraPhotography what is the point of this video if you go back to Godox? it is misleading, there is not even relevant info and comparison between the 2 brands. Maybe editing a sneeze out would improve the video

Does those work without the adapter none?
