BYD Sea Lion 07 2024 in-depth Walkaround
The BYD Sea Lion 07 is a battery electric vehicle (BEV) SUV that made its debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show in November 2023. This SUV is available in three power-electric variants: standard-range RWD, long-range RWD, and long-range AWD.
In terms of dimensions, the 2024 BYD Sea Lion 07 measures 4,830 mm in length, 1,925 mm in width, and 1,620 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,930 mm. The motor options for this SUV include single-motor versions with maximum power outputs of 170 kW and 230 kW, and dual-motor versions featuring a front motor with a maximum power of 160 kW, and a rear motor with a maximum power of 230 kW.
The Sea Lion 07 offers two LFP blade battery options: 71.8 kWh and 80.64 kWh. The 71.8 kWh battery supports charging up to 180 kW, while the 80.64 kWh battery supports charging up to 240 kW. Both battery options can charge from 10% to 80% in just 25 minutes.
Regarding performance, the base variant can accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in 7.3 seconds and has a top speed of 210 kph. The long-range RWD variant can achieve 0 to 100 kph in 6.7 seconds and has a top speed of 225 kph.
Additional features of the BYD Sea Lion 07 include a 12-in-1 electric drive system, cell-to-body (CTB) technology, a panoramic canopy, and vehicle-to-grid capability. These advanced features enhance both the driving experience and the overall functionality of the SUV.
