I never cared for 7th Espada Zommari that much but it is important to question what he said near death. The world of Bleach from the POV of Hollows. They have to eat spirits to satisfy and somehow fill the emptiness in their heart and then the Soul Reapers come along and slaughter them

True, he had a point. Imagine if we can only eat meat and then animals somehow found a way to kill all of us for it. We need meet to survive in that scenario, it would be a messed up situation.

Well, the whole "who gave the Soul Reapers/Shinigami the authority over everything" part is is a good question that's kind of a big spoiler for the final arc and for the post-final arc novels. So Zommari did have a point, even if he didn't truly realize it.

But on the other hand, the Soul Reapers aren't actually killing Hollows - they are purifying them, allowing them to return to the cycle of Life and Death, and (I am unclear on which) either be reborn in the World of the Living, or the Soul Society - that's after all a key conflict between Soul Reapers and Quincy. Though I get, that from a Hollow's pov that is an unconvincing distinction.

You say insane. I say so intelligent that he is insane. Sure.. he’s a pretty morally gray character but he has a point behind most of his actions (excluding the joy he feels in human experimentation and the indifference toward life) yes. Human testing is an essential thing in science. It’s just the way he does it that’s wrong. As for his “daughter” it’s complicated why he treats her the way he does. It’s implied that When she does poorly it’s as if he himself failed. After all she is his greatest creation. This does not mean he hates her though. With characters like Mayuri and orochimaru you have to pick up hints because they don’t really talk about themselves enough. Like how when orochimaru vs the third hokage it’s implied they were both holding back. Side note. Mayuri is my fav captain followed by the local fox man, byakuya and kenpachi.

Szylapporo is just unlucky in that he is the bargain basement scientist in the series. Kurouchi is able to formulate a perfect countermeasure to a single threat, while Urahara can create near-perfect countermeasures for multiple threats simultaneously. He just doesn't stack up.

If you think he doesn't match up as a scientist, you haven't read the novel Safwy. (Some don't consider it canon which is fair enough. Though, Szayel #0 was foreshadowed in the manga through dialogue and Kubo enjoyed the quality of Narita's writing and knowledge.) After a short encounter with Kenpachi Azashiro many years ago, he was quickly able to perfectly analyze and develop countermeasures against his bankai. (Note that the Bankai in question is by far amongst the greatest in all of the series) The information and concepts gleamed from his analysis of the 8th Kenpachi's Bankai allowed Szayel to create his Fraccion Roka Parameia, who has one of the most ridiculous abilities in the entirety of Bleach. (Just look it up lol.) Not to mention even during his fight with Mayuri he still managed to steal his bankai and only lost because he chose to resurrect from within Nemu as opposed to any of the other creatures he had implanted his seed into. Mayuri with over an hour of prep had a very close victory against an off guard Szayel who wasn't even given info on his Bankai by Aizen. Not to mention, Mayuri's unit of revived Arrancar in the TYBW was actually Szayel's almost finished project that was stolen from his lab. His scientific abilities are superb, and in his prime his fighting power was absolutely monstrous. On top of that he has several very useful and hax abilities. I could go on, but I'll stop now XD.

I wish you'd watch this in Subbed, not saying the dub is bad, its really not but there are some emotions and sayings that are better written and expressed in subbed.

Tbh I was more of a person to watch dub for my own convenience as I don't have a sharinghan to keep up lol but they definitely sound super badass and hype saying banaki and using kido and all in sub It'll be hype If you reacted to their japanese sub saying their bankais I'd love to know your opinions on that😩

Lucky, I just started watching one piece, and I think you would have an absolute blast with it. My vote will always be for one piece when you need a new show to watch.

I want to know why Byakuya didn't use that move against Ichigo straight up Ichigo is a brand new bankai either he is nowhere near as fast as the fastest espada why the heck did he not use it That move that the 7th espada was using amor literally means love so he was basically saying except my love

You mean Kageyoshi move? Well, it's simple. He tried covering Ichigo in their battle as well, but Ichigo slashed through every single blade in a second. So, Ichigo will simply do it again.
