Buying Used Suzuki M109R MONSTER Boulevard Test Ride Walk Around Cobra Side Swept Exhaust Price
Today we're picking up a used 2007 Suzuki Boulevard M109R Monster V-Twin that we found on craigslist/offerup. I looked at one a few weeks prior that didn't pan out. I ran across this one shortly after and had to take a look. The seller was super accommodating and encouraged me to take it for a spin and put it through the paces. I'll do my initial test ride, walk around, mini review, and 0-60 test. This is basically stock aside from aftermarket cobra side swept exhaust. Enjoy!
Gear I Use:
Lapel Mic w/GoPro Hero5 Connection (everything you need for audio setup): amzn.to/2Wzw6W1
Simpson Bandit Ghost Helmet: amzn.to/2Go1RLI
GoPro Hero 4: amzn.to/2t38USf

I had to move to Washington and had to sell it but, I Loved it and when I get another bike, it will be an M 109R. I'm hooked on them!

I guess it's tad late, but did you replace the gear shifting sprocket/ star and the spring with Factorypro's M109r one for the gear shifting to be smooth and to fix that clanking. Added Gman shifter bushing for the same reason and maybe added the gear indicator? Also, I fell in love with mine after removing the sissy bar, passenger seat, large foot platforms and the wind shield and turning it from the fake HD cruiser style back into the sporty power cruiser mean machine.

So is the M109R agile for a big machine? Or would I be better off with a MT 07 for my first bike? I have ridden fast Race Quads my whole life. I have ridden other bikes too, 650s and 600 gsxr.

I dont think agile for the m109r. It reminds me of a muscle car - a bit rough/raw, but a monster. A lot also comes down to what kind of riding you'll be doing. I live the fz07 cause it blends the best of what I enjoy: wheelie wannabe stuff, moderate speed, aggressive look, etc.

Hmmmmm...that's a good question. I feel like the raider would be more comfortable for both rider and passenger (as far as ergonomics). I find the raider to be overall more comfortable, a bit more refined, and more tame. THe m109r is straight beast mode - hold on! Lol. Alothough, coming from the cbr1000rr, everything will seem a bit tame. Hahaha. Also, I imagine it would be easier to get a passenger backrest for the raiders. I've never seen an m109r with the passenger backrest.
