Sure sir..did not touch SBI, tata motors Petronet where I had cushion. Had sold those which were at my buy price and built back again. Also for bank nifty do we build 50% position today and next 50% above 47320, is that fine

Thank you sir. 1) When you say cycles of 1 year, 3 years or decadal, do you mean by Low - High (1 or 3 years from Low to High) or High - High? 2) When you mark minor/major support level for your stocks and when stocks start falling from high, how to stay calm by just watching them falling? I feel this is more challenging then finding new stocks. Do you visualize everyday for each and every stocks you own in your portfolio? Thank you.

Thanks Raunak right time I got to hear you. Pl clarify timeline for conservative, moderate and aggressive categories and in each category the best time to exit any of the stock. My new one year old small portfolio as per your classification would fall as aggresive mostly psu banks, defence, engineering etc. all in good profits and don't intend to exit for at least next 2/3 years. I was prepared for upto at least 30% pull backs in the high momentum category. Is this right and should I add at such falls if break out is seen? Thank you again.😊

If you are prepared for a pullback, then it’s fine. But be prepared to add when these pullback and form a new base. Also, hope you have the necessary cushion for a pullback.

Protecting capital.

These are the words of wisdom I needed during this time. Thankyou very much for this. I've been bullied into selling my stocks on SLs for the entire month of February. And for the most part I have been disciplined in doing so. But there does come a point where you start doubting your own strategy. After knowing that you are also facing the same thing, I feel safe in my strategy now and think what I am doing is the correct way. Ofcourse it is hitting my avg return and my avg lose rate has gone up in the month of Feb but the batting average is still over 50. Let's see if the month of March is gonna be kind to me.

My advise you won't like. Short selling works 3 out of 10 times. Be a medium term player. You will benefit in the long run.

Hello ST, Thanks for valuable content as usual. I had a question in last open channel video as well which i think got missed. Though you may find my questions illogical but that is my nature and i am confused always. My journey to stock market started at the time of Russia Ukraine war. I was in decent profits but after correction due to war led me to empty my portfolio at the loss of 3.5 lakh on the 10 lakh capital size (this includes FNO as well) since last approx 2 year's i am following you and have made many changes to my life. I have started reading books, i have watched almost all your videos, i have started research on stocks picked. My biggest problem is i am not able find whether i am invester or trader. I am doing trading but not sure if i am Swing or position trader. FNO i have almost stopped after following you. and even if i sometimes do, i close in green. My experience or fear is i only think that this profit is going to reverse if you don't close the position. Most of my time i spent on market related learning only. what you would suggest to confused soul like me who reacts due to pas experiences. i am sorry for the long text

How should one handle the mkts during short trading sessions, the likes of 02 Mar (two sessions of one hour each)? Since volumes are low on such days, is it advisable to sit back or still go behind stocks if pivots are taken out?

I can’t advise anything. But it’s a debt free company with solid management and a sound business model. Will struggle more for next 2-3 years.

hi.. thanks for the video. I am already 1/3rd in cash and am not taking any aggressive bets in this market. Trailing balance positions in banks as well. With the kind of volatility that we are seeing, totally think the market may correct anytime soon. But it proves everyone wrong all the time :)) Will have patience to build back positions for the next leg up now. Okay, Now I understand. So this would be the Overvalued Outperformers. Defence, Railways, Capex Sectors. Make a lit of these. VCP + HTF + Stage breakout. Participate.

Can't complain about fortnight videos. People need to understand that creating videos of this caliber cost time and money. If one checks out videos which were released in 2021 and early 2022, it was clearly called out that the channel should receive equal support from the audiences in exchange for the hard work which gets put in putting out quality contents or else the frequency of the videos has to come down in order to maintain the running cost. A creators biggest motivation is the likes and positive comments which they receive but unfortunately we failed to do for this wonderful channel. Thanks a lot Sir for your efforts and time. Your videos have helped me big time to understand this game and i am doing good 🙏.

Hope this message finds you well Raunak sir. Question / advise:I have been doing corporate job from 15 years. I have saved a corpus of around 70 lakhs. I am at that stage where i wish to become full time trader and quit job. My lifestyle is pretty basic and can happily sustain with 50k a month (inflation adjusted). Any advise from you in terms of how i can build sustainable income through market? Options i can think of: 1. Investing as per your, Mark, stan guidelines. Made decent profits but sustainability doesn't give enough confidence to quit job 2. Index directional trades some sort of swing 3. Maybe some combination of mutual funds or fd or debt Your advise will be precious

Hi Shikhar Corpus is less if you want to go full time. This will make you move towards F&O strategies to get monthly income out. Let me still try to help you understand few things. Corpus is 70 L and expenditure (known) is 50k. Which means you need 6 L a year to sustain. Roughly 11.5% return post tax on your capital. You also need to account for unknown variables in life. For E,g, Emergencies, Travel, Insurance etc. Also, Traders in Stock market don't get loans easily. You will have to keep this in mind as well. Your best shot is Minervini Stan guidelines with concentrated portfolio. With correct market conditions, you should pull off 50% + in an year and this would cover for everything. Having written all this, I will have to write that I always discourage one from going full time.

Why I see a contradiction in his statements. He is saying shakeouts are common so keep holding, also he says that we never know how shortly a 5% fall will become 10%fall, or 10% fall will become 15% fall.

You have to listen carefully and watch in sequence to understand what’s being said. Pullbacks will be common is for core portfolio. Portfolio has cushion, hence tolerating volatility is not a problem. The next comment is for trading position being built in the short term. Here, cutting losses is critical. If you mix the two, you’d be confused and this is what your comment reflects.
