PAUL READ THIS: I think you will be happier in the long run if you take the time to move the rocks in the reef pond over to the new predator pond. Build some cool arches and caves out of Marco rock that are better suited for the smaller fish and add those to the reef pond. The big fake rocks make better structure for larger fish like groupers and sharks. You will get to see the smaller fish more if you build them something they feel more secure in.

Paul has said in the past that he doesn’t want structure in the reef tank because it forces them to swim in open water so that he can see them more. This is a large reason why so many of his fish die due to stress. He refuses to give them an appropriate home.

Paul you’re doing it backwards the glued together type structure the community pound needs and the predatory ponds needs the bigger style rocks since those fish get a lot bigger. Most likely they won’t even use the type of structure you are describing because they won’t be able to fit in or through it. Anyways love the starfish get the lights hung for the community pond to get it brighter and more color pop off the fish.

I wish he made a float contraption with some clips on it for them to be able to actually eat/share the piece of food. But to say he completely mistreats his animals would be a false statement IMO, he does take pretty good care of a lot of the animals. I just wish he did more research with the salt water stuff, it's very beginner decisions that are being made and if someone like Tommy is behind him as a resource makes me question whether or not Tommy is giving him the thumbs up just cause it's a continuous paycheque and free advertising which is more concerning in my opinion.

Do you have a sponge on the intake pipe bud as those pumps look strong , im anxious the smaller fish get sucked up it or even pinned to it , keep doing what you do 👍

FLAME ANGEL?!?!?!!? also, you do have a fair amount of structure in there, however it may be worth adding even more to it, to help the fish spread out and feel safer in more areas of the pond. where you added the extra random solo rocks, add things on that side that have smaller holes and gaps for the fish to feel safer in and then you will see them move around in all of all the little nooks and crannies instead of hiding in the one or two there now. I know weight is probably a small concern, but you can get several different types of pumice that will sink but is not much heavier than water and build it out to look more like an actual reef. but i get the appeal of having the wide open water so you can see the fish, just food for thought

hi Paul, You probably won’t read this but I follow your channel for quite awhile now, since the first ponds at your parents house. I used to love and enjoy your content but now you seem to be focused on views and not actually taking good care of the animals, especially the fish. Not giving animals the environment they need while having them in captivity stresses them out and they either get sick or die, so refusing to remodel the saltwater tank with those fish In it, is straight up a form of animal abuse.

Starfish look great!! I’ve never seen a chocolate chip starfish before. You should build more structure in your current saltwater pond! More caves closer to the viewing panels for the smaller fish to be able to explore the whole pond
