Good eye, And am not 100% sure. Yes it is a mix of rose and white quartz with some mica, a non metallic mineral, thinking there is something else in there, not sure. Have used them in other ta nks without issues, no pH, animal loss, etc. I have a lot of it, baseball to football size or bigger.
