BUYING OUR MOTORCYCLE IN THE PHILIPPINES | ISLAND LIFE
Hello everyone. One of our long awaited dreams finally came true. We bought a new motorcycle! This new friend will take us to many places and different adventures.
Let's take a closer look at our motorcycle. It's called the HONDA XR 150L. It's a dual-purpose motorcycle. You can ride it both in the city and off-road.
The heart of the iron horse - air-cooled engine with a volume of 150 cubic centimeters with a mechanical five-speed gearbox. Its power is 12 horsepower. The bike is lightweight and has a low fuel consumption. About 2.5 liters per 100 kilometers.
At the front there is a disk brake and a telescopic fork. At the back there is a drum brake and a swingarm with a mono shock absorber.
There is a luggage rack. The seat is divided in height for the comfort of the driver and passenger.
Our two-wheeled friend looks stylish and modern. At the same time, it's simple and not expensive. Boris read that in Australia this bike has become very popular with farmers. In the Philippines, we often see it on the roads too.
It takes two to three months to register. We don't have to go anywhere, the motorcycle dealership will do everything. We have 24 hours from the time of purchase. During this time, the police don't pick on us for not having a license plate. The rest of the time we were advised not to go to the city and to ride only locally until we get the license plates.

Darlene you must not say be careful all the time you will be like the boy screaming the sky is falling. Save it for very important times be a good copilot. When you know the direction you should learn together if you tap Boris on the left that means go left when you tap him on the right that means go, right. Get your own personal signals down Pat that way you make the right direction choices more often but don’t be scared to go a little out of your way and explore and turn around and come back. Don’t do any abrupt moves. If you make a wrong, turn drive down a mile or two and turn around and come back, not a big deal. Ride safe take your time learn to move with Boris on the bike move together, especially when going around corners .

Darlene/Boris you have to save enough to buy/fix a box at back of the seat another two at the side of the bike.The back seat box you must fix Darlene can rest her back when travelling add a cushion on the back box make it comfortable when travelling..
