Only a Company can own property , individuals are unable to own any land unless you are married to Filipina and then the property is in her name - not the foreigner. Foreigners can ONLY Buy Apartments which are of poor construction and overpriced

$100k AUD for a small block of land is very expensive, is that normal price?

This is a great question. Yes, this price is becoming more and more normal. Because it is at the edge of the city of 130.000 population, university, multiple hospitals including private, 1 hour drive to an international airport, 2-3 hours drive to Manilla. And lets not forget this is a gated community with 24/7 security guard. The price will only go up from here in my oppinion.
My view is that advangtages all towards your wifes family sides not you or yr baby if live there . Provinces or village like never good

Still living in Singapore. We don't spend in PH enough time at the moment to justify a big investment to build a house. Every time we save money we rather buy another land. Thank you for watching!
