Absolutely! With a OBD-Dongle you just know more about your car. I use it in my Leaf and it is extremely helpful.

All androids in this household .. the last i-phone i bought was an iphone 4s LOL .. only rich people can afford iphones ... and apple products in general , and aint nobody got no time for that i-tunes programme

Thank you Nik. I've requested the beta for CanZE as I'm not getting all the information at the moment. I have 2 dongles including the one you recommended. I'm not sure if there is an issue with the Kangoo, it shows the battery voltages correctly on CanZE but the SOH is showing 105%, the professional diagnostic equipment is showing 100%. And the battery temp is showing at something like -235℃. So we will see how we get on with the beta version. I'll keep you posted. Thank you again for your advice. Doug

I am getting my Zoe on Saturday and just bought the Dongle. Thanks! I also purchased a 10m 3-pin charger.. I have an awkward parking spot and 10m will not be sufficient unfortunately. It is safe to add an ev charge extension to the 10m cable? Thanks in advance!

It’s a legal requirement on the car, but the tool in video will turn it off but you do so at own risk

Hi i have this konnwei obd adapter and it works totally fine with my zoe , but i cannot connect it to bimmercode app... maybe there is a solution to this ? There is no such adapter konnwei in the app list, i tried all other options but it does not work...

Interesting video. Other subject..what's your thoughts over Tesla Model S screen electronics memory wearout? I know some memory chips have limited read/write cycles, it caused a problem with a micro controller in a previous job. It's concerning as it's an invisible time bomb. Tesla model S ( to 2015 in reports) apart could other EVs suffer?

it quite a common an well known issue, its due with the way Tesla set up the logging its writing WAY too much every touch on the screen for example logs the touch point X and Y. There are people who've reprogramed this to do LESS logging this SERIOUSLY improves the life, but you can unsolider and resolider the chip to fix this

@@NicolasRaimo so, garage want to charge me and RCI have made it very clear they won’t do anything until the battery reaches 75%, think I’m just gonna have to wait to it gets to that point. Any tips on how to degrade a battery lol

Find it on your Pc it broadcast as a Wi-fi hub, your need a modified OBD cable to make android auto work thou

I find if you specifically look for a OBD2 adaptor with a PIC18F25K80 chip inside this should work great with DDT4all and CanZE - it cost me around 20 quid ... i previously bought a 'mini bluetooth' adaptor for around 7 quid and it was useless ... well I say useless it just really was only alright for testing using Torque for ICE cars .. but no good for CanZe (some parts worked) and DDT4all.

learning tyre pressure is a TERRIBLE French translation for "LEARNT" so basically nothing wrong

Hello! Thanks! What a great Video. I think you can post a Video showing how to deactivate and activate the nipples in the Braking System on a Renault Zoe. So that people who spend expensive money on buying an Electric car, will not have to pay expensive invoices for changing brake fluid. You have posted a Video before, where you visited a Workshop. The workshop guy then explained how it is done in a simple way, together with Clip Fault code reader. But he didn't tell you how to do it in the Program. Can you help many of us Zoe owners? Thanks! depends where in the world you are it will open different things, but you could have the car remember which setting you want it to remember so be that ECO, Eco plus for example you can EVEN have it display tyre temperatures

Leaf spy on android can use Wifi dongle on the version I have, and has a setting for a Bluetooth one. There is a freeware leafspy lite version too, with reduced functions, but still worth it.

Ive found a OBD A2138203202 droped on street. Looking at google i see it originaly for Mercedes Bens. You know if it is compatible with Renault Zoe?

Don't you need the splitter cable to actually write anything with DDT4ALL or have they found a way round it? I've still got one kicking about from adding Android Auto my old Zoe. There is also a free version of Leafspy called Leafspy lite which lets you do basics like checking SOH. Might only be available on Android though.

You only need to change pins if your doing stuff on the Rlink system other stuff writes fine.

One Android app for Kia/Hyundai is Soul EV Spy. evranger.com/soul-ev-spy-users%27-guide.html There are other OBD2 apps that will read the data too. Compatible dongle is listed in the guide. There are also hardware displays available. Alot of the EV KZreadrs have them.

I thought this sounded very interesting in your video, but after clicking on your Amazon link, the product has 3 reviews and 2 of those say it's no good and award it 1 star. It also appears to be £17 plus delivery. Am I missing something? I wouldn't normally consider buying anything with such poor reviews.

@@paulware6576 thats a direct link to one am using in this video, I'll try get some more wifi enabled ones listed on my site by end of this week but remember we ain't using the rubbish software the firm who sell them provide we are using custom made hardware for it. This worked prefect of DDT4ALL for me. the Ios version of canze is a little behind on development thou.

@@NicolasRaimo I really only want it to show the basic info especially the SOH. I'm having a problem when charging whereby the display shows one percentage whilst connects and immediately afterwards, but shows a completely different value less than an hour later. Yesterday after charging it showed 83 miles and 88% and within the hour, it displayed 66 miles and 69% which I suspect is the true value. I wondered if this reader might show why that is.

I thought you were OK until you said an iPhone was the best phone in the world now I feel sad for you. My new electric car comes tomorrow - just a little excited.....
