I have a 2004 LJ I have had for 11 years now, I do not remember how many times I have had offers to buy it.

awesome jeep man. I’m sitting here in my dorm room watching this while my own midnight blue LJ sits at home. unfortunately i live in new hampshire and didn’t get quite as lucky as you did with that frame! thing looks killer. congrats man and thanks for your service!

I found a 2005 bright silver 2005 unlimited Rubicon 6 speed (soft top version) with hard and soft tops with 94000 for 13,500 in Indianapolis. I was amazed. Bought it back in October 2019. It’s amazing! The frame and everything also looks really good. I absolutely love it.

Nice find! It’s hard enough for a transaction to go smooth even 10 miles away! Nice Rubi! I just bought an silver 06 hardtop auto LJ all stock with 150k miles. Super clean, unmolested. I paid 10,500 and that’s a steal for any LJ in my opinion.

Very much so especially since the number of them made is very low compared to the TJ only 2 1/2 years probably only 1/3 are Rubicon's total number is 50 k or less production on LJ's. I was looking at one a few years ago it was listed at almost what I paid for mine new in 05.

Love the LJR. I just picked up my 2006 silver LJR two months ago with 89K miles. Clean CA Rubicon gets the nods every time I take it out.

@@caioribeiro8582 I got mine for 21K and had to pay CA sales tax of almost 2K so I’m in it for 23K. It is bone stock except the bumpers and sway arm were upgraded, but I still have the originals. It has a factory hardtop and brand new tires on the stock rims. I stored the hardtop and put a full length bikini top on for summer time. Runs and shifts so smooth. Not easy to find these days and people are storing them away as the videos and articles get posted.

Nice video. Being from Northern Michigan I’ve gone as far as Bristol TN to get a rust free ZJ. So I’m surprised how much rust your silver LJ has for being in Kentucky. It looks better then one would up here, but how did it get that much rust in a southern State?

ryan wai Correct. It was used by some Jeep executives during design/production but was never an official name. TJ-Unlimited was it’s official term. Then when it came out buyers starting to refer to it as LJ. (Long Jeep)

It really all depends on your area. Does it have any rust on the frame? Once you decide on a price post it on Facebook marketplace and other Jeep groups.

@@dksgarage6061 I live in the midwest, the frame looks decent, surface rust mostly. It has low miles but there is rust through the body over the rear tires. the previous original owner put on some after market fender flares and they appear to have rubbed and caused rust he never took care of. its the price I have no idea about.

@@---rg1gb No sir, It is still here. It is in no where as nice of shape as yours in this video. I put a couple thousand miles on it over the summer while I was between cars. I need to get rid of it though as it mostly sits and with 4 kids I have zero time. Know of someone interested?

Does LJ comes in Hard Top ?

Yes some do. To get a hardtop after purchase it’s $1200+ but they are out there. Plus there is a company now who makes an aftermarket top that’s nice
