Automotive brake cleaner works fantastic on motherboards. We use it on small PCs all the time.

Huh..a tip all this old fans are roller bearings put some oil on the bearing if you go to this detail in cleaning dissembly

So the second PC did you use all the original parts cause I'm thinking why was the pump original installed on the outside? I'm guessing the original owner didn't understand how to set it up properly?

They are old high end PC's so not budget PC's in the sense of using budget parts
