@@Sandiegocruiser Ok, well I don't know the rules in the US but the same things to look for should apply. You don't say the mileage of the car but mechanical condition is paramount. Low mileage is not always an indicator of a good car as they like to be used and if not parts do seize up. The battery will also throw up a lot of warnings if the voltage is low. Check for oil leaks, brakes, and suspension, as these can be expensive, oh and good branded tyres. Cosmetically it's a question of what you accept but they are prone to oxidization around the wiper arms, side strakes, wing mirror arms, and door handles as well as bubbling on the arches. Lights, especially the rear are prone to condensation. They may be easily removed and dried out unless they're bad and will be $800 ish to replace. The leather interior is prone to scratches and scuffs and the top roll of the dash and rear shelf can shrink in the sunlight. Hope that helps?

I have a home charger for my Tesla and a 330 BMW it’s about being organised my petrol bmw never moves and our Tesla cost about £10 to charge to 330 miles overnight we do about 1500 miles a month travelling around the country it’s like saying I live 50 miles away from a petrol station and it’s not practical running a petrol car and the way they are closing that could happen in the future it doesn’t work for everyone I understand but if your organised it works really well .I find most cars extremely bland these days and your ability to drive them having fun have gone thanks to cameras and speed restrictions and calming measures
