Don't push the dents out. Cut the damage aluminum out and replace it with new aluminum. Just like they did on cleetus' boat. The aluminum will stretch not return back to the original shape like sheet metal. You are a great welder so you can replace the panels and grind it down so it looks like nothing was replaced.

Pro tip on heating aluminum to bend it, use a black sharpie and scribble the area you want to bend. Hit it with a torch, and when the sharpie fades away, you've reached annealing temperature. Works every time!

You can use the 2 post lift to hoist small boats like that with the grab rails. The trailer you want, is a dual jetki trailer. That will get you the stability you need without being too long. Width is not really an issue when you have a monster truck towing it. With the speaker boxes, you don't want the bottom to be complete. You will end up with water trapped in there.

Annealing aluminum, also known as stress relieving, is a heat treatment process that resets the crystalline structure of aluminum and makes it easier to shape. The process involves heating aluminum to a specific temperature between 570°F and 770°F for a set amount of time, which depends on the size of the piece and the composition of the alloy. The aluminum then loses some structural strength and becomes more ductile and workable. After annealing, the aluminum is cooled using a variety of methods, such as air cooling or quenching in solutions. The cooling period can also affect the material's properties, so annealing is usually performed in a controlled environment with specialized equipment. Annealing can be performed using an oxygen/acetylene torch. One method is to lightly scribble a permanent marker over the aluminum, especially along the edges. Then, heat the aluminum with the torch until the marker burns off, which indicates that the metal has reached the right temperature for annealing. If the marker turns brown and crystalline, it means that the aluminum has been overheated. Annealing can be repeated multiple times to soften the aluminum and achieve the desired shape.

The rubber end for the PortaPower is your friend with aluminum. Get a second one and run rubber on both sides. Having two people helps, one to hold things inside and one to pump and hammer the outside. I had my mom help me straighten mine out. Tabs under the dash to brace against will be your friend, you’ll probably dent it again.

Still hyped about you joining the boating life. I make pound in anchors. Take an old shock. Drill holes in it to releave any pressure and cook the seals from around the shaft. Weld angle iron to the end of the threaded shaft with some heavy duty washers/spacers on the end of the shock and top of the angle iron for those to impact each other. Weld on some loops to tie/hook rope to. Longer the shock the better. Pound into the sand 6-10 feet from the water line and it is not going anywhere. I usually use 24 inches of 2" angle iron.

Use an air Chisel with a rounded flat rounded head. You can start at one end of the damage from the inside and just run down the dent. It will take a bit to get it but it will work. After you get it out use a buck bar on the outside to flatten and shape the surface.

Do with it what you will. Matt from Demo Ranch had a retired Military Humvee (all aluminum), and had to run a ground kit to several points on the vehicle to make sure that everything grounds properly. Since you are already running power lines, it may be worth it to run ground lines as well, or a ground distribution block up front.

You can put a 2x4 on the dent to hit and swing in a much better position. For a more water friendly cable run, you can go to truck parts store and buy cable with many pairs of wires up to 14g. If your connector is going to need 8 wires in the loom, run a 8pair, sealed in rubber insulation. Super clean. Your only water intrusion would be at the connectors.

Pulling tower can be built fairly easily. Go further down the rabbit hole and install some anchor pots in the shop. All else fails, cut it out and start fresh.

Having done tonnes of work with porta powers over the years in those exact situations You will get great results using a timber brace to push from. Large timber base maybe 1 foot square in against the other side will allow full pressure to be applied without stretching the other side of your hull. Like wise stretching a large area can be done the same you just need a more robust location to push from.

These engines in the jetskis suffer from a bit of blow by, I've just started watching the video so not sure if you have one already but get a catch can for it ! Also in the jetskis the Intercooler suffers from condensation due to the hot/cold difference. So combine this with the blow by they have it ends up with slurry in the intercooler and then the intake manifold. the spark plug tubes in the cylinder head weren't uncommon to see leaking either. There is also a very different process to check engine oil level with the 300s compared to the 260 engine in your last jet boat (even though the engines look very much alike)

Maybe worth adding a secondary fuse box to the front of the boat. I added one to mine so its just a power and ground from front to rear then all the smaller wires are up front. I run all of the important stuff (engine, bilge pump, and marker lights) straight from the main panel and all the extra lights and radio stuff from the secondary panel. That way if something happens hopefully its isolated and i can make it back to the dock.

For the dents you should try the automotive technic where you hold a block of steel on the opposite side of the dent and smack the inside with a hammer. Please like so Taylor can see this you need to put a lot of large wooden boards behind the porta power spreading the load over a large area and protecting the good aluminium do not weld bars in to push off wont hold and will just make more problems also DO NOT anneal the aluminium as some have said it will soften it but then it will always be soft heating a little as your doing in this vid is fine

Acetylene and oxygen. Use the acetylene black smoke on the aluminum then add oxygen to heat it up that way you can pull it without blowing a hole in the aluminum. Hopefully that make sense you can find videos on it. Love the build keep on the jibber jabber!

The wire brush method is the way to go. We use wire brushes for suede soles on dance shoes to restore them.

That's the same 18v Milwaukee adapter I put on my little guy's battery Jeep Wrangler. It took my toddler about 30 minutes to burn the motor out. I'm thankful for Facebook Marketplace. We are in the market for a Corvette or fire truck now, I think. 6v to 18v lithium is straight gas. He loved it

a tip to pull aluminium is to drill a hole and put a flat stock plate and pull the dent out with heat, smaller section to weld the hole to

Is it not possible to use a stud welder and a slide hammer to pull those dents out? Or maybe drill a hole in the dent and use a bolt and washer instead of a welded stud? Either way, I think you'd get farther pulling the dents than trying to push them out
