lastly, apart from suggesting Gibson Play Authentic to start making coffins instead of guitars, suggest them to go fly an Indonesian to Nashville, that Indonesian can teach them how to do QC and paint their guitars correctly. This is what happens when Play Authentic hires people from Fiverr to do factory work.

bruh imagine not playing Vs. the solar V in white is my first V (and solar). i've put aside all my other strat shaped guitars ever since i got that thing. it's so amazing to play while sitting (and standing too for that matter) when you put the spike between your legs. took me a day or two to get used to the more classical position, ever since i'm not looking back. never again going to buy anything but v shapes lol. i've become better at high fret shredding because my wrist position is better, also my back hurts way less because you sit up straight playing that thing. it's genius. i never thought about playing Vs, because i thought they look uncomfy, then i watched some videos and now i'm a total sucker for it since i got mine lmao. this said you definitely need a strap also when playing sitting. got myself a nice white leather strap that looks gorgeous on the white V.

i always thought classical Vs look kinda ridiculous, the solar ones are so beautiful though. solars overall are just so beautiful. i think they sh** on most of the competition in the looks department. something fresh finally. really now match with most brands for me personally (for that price at least of course...) although i like the LTD arrow (V).

floyds are tiresome to setup but great once it's done. they're really good for down tuned or drop tuned guitars since you don't need to file the nut or whatnot. but plan in like 6 hours if you want to change string gauges or tuning Lol

Guitar shopping with Ray was kind of fun because it didn't cost me anything lol

I own a Solar 7 string and I couldn't imagine a better guitar for the price. It's on par with my Kiesel for hlaf the price. REALLY solid and well built!

@@John-- They are, but I chose one which didn't look as metal to me, and now I use it for both metal aswell as indie pop and indie rock... very versatile instrument for sure!

I got a A2.6 Candy Red and I love it. I swapped out the stock pickups for some blackouts and it sounds so good and plays well. You'll love the playability of it

@@travisschuster4676 I love them as well as the mick thomson blackouts too. I mainly have it in the lower tunings like drop C or C standard and it sounds amazing

First, you always have killer content man!!! And second, I picked up the Solar Pink Canibalismo guitar. I love that thing, so smooth and the Duncan Soloar pickups sound really good too. And your Matte Orange looks bad ass!!!

I recently got my first Solar, an S2.6FBL. I have already installed a TUSQ XL nut (PT-6643-00) And have locking tuners on the way. I love the orange finish you chose and hope we get to see it on the channel soon enough.

I have a V and G type (the Les Paul style). I've had both over a year and I've had zero problems with them. I absolutely love them too. They play really nice.

got the V in white, it's so sick man. even after half a year i still smile when i see that guitar.

I have been thinking about picking up a solar guitar myself here soon as well. look foward to your video's with yours.

The Solar website is so unorganized. Choose the body shape and that's it. I don't get it. What about creating menus to choose between Series 1 or 2 and then choose the number of strings ?

Reverse headstock on the single cut LP style way cooler than I would have imagined.

I keep thinking of getting a Solar for myself as my next kind of forever guitar. Or a 2 series 7 string as my first 7 to try out. I love the variety of colors

There is a certain type of adrenaline high, when your buying a new or another guitar! And as we all know, it's addictive 🤘🎸👍

If I wasn't so scared of QC issues I would buy a solar right now today. I'm just worried of getting one with issues and being stuck with it.

There are no QC issues. I've had my A2.6 LN over a year and no issues with the supposed cracking fretboard. If it's the Logo issue, Jackson also has that issue

@@rickyturner2742 It's not because YOU didnt have issue that there's no issue with their QC People need to stop thinking their personal opinion make it a fact. Solar had, maybe still have QC issue, that's a fact. end of the story

@@claire6650 I got 12 Solars, got my first one in 2019. Every single one has been perfect and ready to go out of the box. Flawless. And I might add, still to this day no fretboard cracks or anything. I'll actually be shocked when I do recieve one and it's got some sort of issue.

@@claire6650 I believe what they mean is that isn't a "QC issue" because those issues pop up long after the guitars were made and shipped, it's an issue with humidity and how they were stored and/or shipped and not something they can catch in the factory or warehouse. It's a technicality really, but it is still an issue.

Where have you seen or hear of QC issues? I’m not being smart I’m looking at buying one and would like to see any negatives I might run into.

Man I wanna try a solar. But I just got a new Jim root fender tele and I’m loving it. Might just stick with Jim root signatures now. Can’t wait to try his new Charvel but yeah man can’t wait to c how u like this new solar. Dying to try one!!!

That orange is sweeeet! I ordered the 29" Evertune Solar back in May, should be shipping in the next couple days. Wish it came in that orange though!

Purchased the same solar on Black Friday of last year. Absolutely love it. I will say, I did have the dreaded cracking fretboard issue. I contacted solar customer support and they were extremely helpful and kind and were able to get me a replacement guitar. My experience with their customer support kept me on board with the brand. The typical QC issues with a cheaper guitar(marks on the fretboard, glue, frets not as polished) are there but they do not affect the playability. I find myself picking up this guitar over my other much more pricey guitars more often than not. Pickups are great imo and do not need to be swapped out. Can’t wait to see it on the channel!

I feel you on the orange thing. It’s just been hitting different recently. Gonna get a Balaguer Typhon in Orange hopefully in the next few months

I got a V1.6 Canibalismo when it came out 2 years ago, absolutely love it! The neck and the angled side bevels make it one of the most comfortable guitars I've played. I'll definitely own more Solars in the future.

I just got a A1.7 ROP last month. It was a leap of faith because I’ve never played a Solar. But having known Ola through his Discord gave me the confidence that this was a quality product that I’d want. So far, I’ve been really enjoying it. Looks even better in person.

My GC1.6 Vinter is one of my favourite guitars. Everything about it kicks ass. The GC2.6 that I moved on to get the 1.6 was also amazing. Other than the fact that yours isn't a single cut, you really can't go wrong with a Solar.

I just got an A1.6 Canibalismo today. Love it so far. It is my first Evetune bridge.

My Solar A1.6 Floyd Rose is incredible! The 5 way switch conked out so I replaced it with a 3 way but other than that, it's rock solid!

Would love to hear more about the critique on Evertune. Seems like a pretty divisive upgrade.

Block your floyd solid, it is the best of both wrolds (you can bend with no string detune and you can use the floyd for dives, the trick is the block lets you set the spring tension higher so it wont spring up when bending notes and ypou can do the Floyd dive bomb)

I like the Easter egg of making the solar logo orange on the title card.

I was told bad things about the ever tune but when I bought a new guitar they sent me one with a ever tune on it but after I got used to it I really like it.

I'm drooling over my tablet just looking at the Solar T1.6AFBRB I love the shape of the Telecaster, it's perfect, a more aggressive Telecaster with modern Fishman Fluence pickups, a nice red color and a gold color that I find very tasteful The whole thing looks well built and with an evertune bridge 🤌🏻👌🏻

I play a honeyburst Hamer that is very orange. Nothing but compliments for the color every show. Great pick dude!

I should have done more research on the 7 string I bought. I love the guitar, but I didn't know it had a double action truss rod. I'm hoping I haven't messed it up, I've kinda just let the guitar sit for a month because I was trying to adjust the truss rod and didn't know what I was doing. 😭

I own a S1.6FRBLB with a Floyd Rose and it’s my best guitar in terms of feel, playability, and weight. The Duncan Solar pickups feel beefy for riffs because they don’t have a lot of output, but they are considerably weak for leads (just consider that if you’re a lead player, you might wanna swap the pups). Fretwork is immaculate and it came perfectly set for standard tuning with a nice set of 9-46 (I still haven’t changed the gauge or tuning because it just feels good)

I have been eyeing the Orange S 2.6 with the black binding FOREVER. Such a cool look! It just makes me think of Halloween. The Floyd has been keeping me away from it though...

I've been diggin orange on a guitar so I got a Mitchell MD200 that's orange. It's nothing fancy but man it looks and feels good to me. pretty underrated color for a guitar to be honest lol

Love me floyds... but I just block them off these days and when I feel like going crazy, the option is there.

I spend a lot of time on Reverb and there is an orange Ibanez that I’ve had my eye on. It’s definitely a cool color ode a guitar and not something you see a lot of people play.

My main guitars are my Solar and my Jason Richardson Musicman...I feel bad but I always gravitate towards the Solar instead because of the evertune and upper fret access...even though it costs like a third of the price.

If floyds aren't your thing but you love the guitar, just block it. I wanted a Jackson in Eerie dess swirl, but as a newer player at the time the floyd worried me. I bought one and blocked it until I felt like learning how to maintain the bridge. Plus side is the tuning stability will still be superior even without using the trem.

I have a Solar 1.6 BLB evertune....my favorite guitar by far and i own les pauls and strats...etc..... I installed Fishmans then EMG's and stuck with the EMG's but the Solar Duncans sound really good.

I have misha’s orange juggernaut 7 string, and it’s by FAR my favorite. If I was a known guitarist, orange would be my flagship I think

I dunno what it is with me, but I just can't do a reverse headstock on a Les Paul shape. I don't know why. I love reverse headstock, and I love LP's, but I really don't think they match up well

I used to absolutely LOATHE Floyd's. Now I don't don't look at a guitar if it doesn't have one. The big thing with them is getting a few inexpensive tools to make setting them up easier and learning a few tricks and tips to help speed the process along.

I really want that 29" Baritone they just announced. I love tuning super low and having an evertune seems like it would be a dream on that scale length. Pitch drift is such an annoying thing for me and I've heard the evertune eliminates that. But its a little out of my price range. I cannot be spending $1200 on a guitar right now.

Getting a guitar in 29” alone is rare and nothing is really “for metal” without some adjustments. Evertune guitars are never going to be under 1000$. If you have the money, or can run it on a payment plan, I would say anything under $1300 there is still value to it. Anything else is non functional extras.

Misha has an orange model and since seeing it I've been wanting an orange guitar.

I almost bought an evertune with that first covid check but I was scared I wouldn't like it because I have never tried one. I really love that oiled dark natural wood ones

I would recommend it ony for professional studio recordings, not to homebrew hobby guitarists. It holds your tune forever but you have to buy different springs for different tunings, so you are still better off with a floyd or fixed bridge, imo. I instantly returned the guitar when i saw Ola's video about the different spring sizes that you have to measure and buy for different tunings and string sizes

​@@xNachtmahRxI know it's a year after your comment but that's just wrong. If you want really low tension or high tension strings you have to get different springs but if you're keeping your string gauge consistent with your tuning you don't need to change a thing.
