Thank you for sharing this information. I live in a mobile home that my Dad left for me. He is 98 yrs old and lives at the Vets Home. The mobile home needs a lot of work. I plan on hiring contractors to start working on it soon. I do pay a lot lease every month. I'm not sure if I want to keep living here after it is renovated, even though it is a less expensive way to live. Here are some additional things to consider about buying a mobile home: your neighbors are very close and you have limited privacy. Also, check to make sure there are no large oak trees close by that could really cause terrible damage. I have one right next to me, and it worries me every time a bad storm comes through. Also, if you have a neighbor that doesn't take care of his place and leaves junk/trash all over the place--you will have a hard time selling your mobile hone-which is my situation if I sell someday. Also, who wants to look at a trashy home across the street everyday.....if you live in a trailer park, you may have to if the owner does nothing about it. Just some additional things to consider.

Want Tiny/small home. Own land to have garden…and room…to breathe; not shake hands with neighbor through windows.
