Iv bought 2 one of them the guy was honest with the lot an I still lost my arse but broke even, the other one he thought it was fucked never told me ended up being vacuum houses an a boost pipe luckily but never again will I buy from up there 🤣🤣

Fair play to the guy, has an MOT garage and buys a car with chassis leg corrosion @ 91k then "gets it fixed" for the next MOT @ 95k, seems like a lot of chassis refurb work has gone into this one, no doubt lost money on it. Ah wait its from Birmingham! I get it now.

I absolutely love those Nissan Elgrands the seats are unbelievably comfortable they recline everything so practical and versatile fantastic vehicle

I bought a golf mk4 1.8t from Birmingham in 2017. I had a hpi report with full service history in a folder and drove home happy. That night it rained heavy and I got in the motor and all windows were steamed up and my whole floor pan was a lake, that bad I could of made it a pond!!!! Told “boss man” I was bringing the car back you didn’t say it leaked and he said it wasn’t sold with warranty. I never pursued it and just sold it for spares or repairs on ebay. I lost money granted but I bought a e46 the next week and it got me into drifting.

Need to get JDM HPI check done via CarVX, shows auction history inc. grading sheets etc. aswell

Can't be many of these cars left. If I remember correctly they were available in 4 power outputs and needed oil changed every 3000 miles. Some of the police forces had them as interceptors as they were so quick.

@@satianabledepends where it’s lived. I’ve had a 15 yr old fresh import from Japan with over 100k miles and the underside looked brand new. Even the zinc plating on the exhaust bolts was still gold. The guy that MOT’d it for me refused to believe it hadn’t had a full restoration.

My dream car since I was a kid. Uncle had a evo6 then a evo7 and it was the fastest car I’d ever been in. Fell in love ever since. Remember being like 23 trying to Finance a 6. Could get the car buy insurance was like 13k and car was 9k. Fast forward 10years can afford the insurance but not the car 😂😂😂

I had a blue Tommi Makinen edition in 2008 which cost me £11000. I could just about afford the car and the insurance was only £400 a year. It was the fuel I couldn’t afford to keep putting in! Was gone within a year. Wish I kept it, worth 4 times what I paid now

@@bmwevodunc we’ve all made that mistake of selling mate. When I was 17 I had a Clio rt full Williams kit and a 5gtt engine in. Sold it for £800 be worth 5k+ now. That’s why I got a mk6 R over a mk7. Hopefully should hold the money as there’s not many about

OK just finished watching the rest. He didn't drive it from the docs. He brought it from up north. (Leeds I think) and yer he got it for a good price! It will take me ages to find the video. But search... cars uk it goes through the auction on there. So he's told a fib there .. I'll watch the rest. But I have no clue on a evo. So I'll go back in my corner 😢😅

I preffered the subaru I had 5 silver saloons, two x 2002 and had three 2003/2004/2005, back then they were insanely quick for the price. The 220bhp or 280bhp on the pro drive version seemed massive, now my 2018 E400 has 400 bhp and my 2019 golf gti has 245,, cheers Mark

Cars are much heavier now, my FQ340 weighed about 1250kgs it would leave my Tesla model S for dead but 15 MPG was a bit of a bugbear.

I owned an Sti Subaru (2007 from new) and Evo 8 (used with 50k miles) for a decade side by side ....................and there's no comparison, hands down an Evo is a better car in every way by a million miles.

I once bought a mitsubishi fto from a dealer in birmingham and when i went to collect my v5 he mysteriously dissapeared 😅😅😅 brummies are jokers

top tip - never.... NEVER buy a car from Birmingham... EVER! LOL!

I prefer subaru's over evo's as subaru's feel like they stick to the load a lot better and like you sed in the video the throttle response is alot better on a subaru then it is on a evo and the cost off repairs on a evo is silly money but on a subaru they are sensible money for a rally car and agian the reason why I like subaru's is from when I was a kid I would always here them and see them go past and just loved the look and sound off them and sed to my self one day I will own on and now I do I love the way they handle as well as sound and the amount off looks you get in one is unreal and people coming over wanted to have a look at it as it is an appreciating classic and I don't think that they get enough credit tbh but this is my opinion wheather this is right or wrong I dunno but I love the subaru's
