Everywhere you went was beautiful. I love that you guys got a tree. I also got so excited when I spotted a Family Mart. Had no idea they had those in Thailand. The tree also is so so cute.

haha yeah - the family mart bell when the door opens is such an iconic sound for me after spending so much time in Japan - it felt like home for a minute there. and thank you so much :)

I've never been to Thailand !! What a beautiful beach there you showed us !! Thai people are friendly & I love Thai foods ! 😋 Though I don't eat 'em as much as I used to ! They're either too spicy ,or too sweet !! Maybe different there !! Good to know ! Eating Thai foods on a beach in Thailand must be awesome !! What a cute dog you found there !! Is he/ she someone's ? I hope !! Do Thai celebrate X'mas ? Because the most Thai are Buddhist. Filipinos do as the most of them are Christians, I believe !! How's the covid restriction there !? yep - that's the hotel's dog, he just hangs out with the guests all day, gets pets and treats, and sleeps in the sand. what a life, lol

The scooter is the best way to get around, but takes some getting used to for sure :) we just had to have a bit of home with us - we've been away from home for so long, we needed some normalcy. merry christmas :)

Check out the famous Hin Ta and Hin Yai rock formations in Koh Samui ... just after Lamai southwards ... or the Secret buddha garden nearby up the hills

@@LisaAndJosh we had it on lamai there were fire dancers and fireworks but this was pre covid. Fun atmosphere always on Samui

In maenam they have real Xmas trees

@@LisaAndJosh Really !? Maybe some !! But here in L.A./ O.C.all the Thai restaurants I've been to they use grated peanuts !! Not peanut butter !! Lol. But,comes to think ,maybe it was like that at American restaurants offered Phat Thai !!? I think I had one ,or two like that ,too !! Lol. But, I almost always go to Thai food restaurants owned / run by Thai people !! I prefer that way ! The same goes to Chinese ,or Japanese, Italian .I don't think those you've been going to aren't ,or are they Thai people operating them !? Is this the difference between here & there !!? 💜🥁🐉🎤🎶🎄🎁💞
