I stayed 2 weeks in Khanom in March. One week in Vish Hotel & second week in Sea Breeze House on Naiplao Beach (you covered them 12/18 months ago!). Barely any farangs at the time bar some intrepid continental Europeans. And as your drone shots showed beaches entirely deserted. Well worth it & not yet destroyed by overtourism like other previously fantastic places in Southern Thailand.

I used to love going to places like English Bay or Canada Place to watch the fireworks, or going to Playland or the PNE, all the super busy and loud, over crowded places, but that passion died fast and now I can't stand crowds or noisy/load places. Maybe it's old age catching up to me. LMFAO CHEERS buddy. Keep safe and stay healthy. 🙂👍

This was the longest road trip so far and 'Trippy' ran like a champ, so far so good (touch wood;)

Licence is 'officially' required (got mine when purchased at dealer here). However, few tourists seem to have one as it takes ages plus red tape etc. Most are using under 149G drones like mine which is a grey area but no flying within 9km/5 miles of airports, obey 150m ceiling limit and no flying in Ntnl Parks where prohibited. On a personal note, no 'buzzing' people relaxing on a beach, or at a pool etc and moreover just use common sense.
