You have covered all the points one has to be aware and wary of! Explanation behind the economics between New and Used cars is great, without a doubt. It is good to know for a fact that there are some other excellent sources available to buy NOT that old car with minimum mileage like under 500 miles - I mean latest model years - warding off many issues associated with real old cars, previously owned by somebody but the registered dealers / cab operators! These cars would have been constantly maintained by them in ship shape condition! For example, demo cars, courtesy cars, test drive cars, rental auctions, lease returns, clearance etc. where you may get a ‘current year - 1’ model year. If we are in 2021, it’s quite likely that we may get a 2021 car itself through these channels or earliest 2020. These channels don’t keep the cars for more than 6 months to 1 year, only with an exception of lease returns. Also, close to the end of the current year, it’s always with heavy discounts. 2021 model new cars will be at their lowest if you start checking sometime by October 2021. This way, there will be still a full guarantee or lot of unexpired portion of the guarantee available. Also, some cars do have lot of special government subsidy - electric cars, manual cars. We live in your neighbourhood and bought so far 4 cars all new - 2008 - Honda Civic, 2012 - Dodge Journey, 2020 - Tesla, and 2021 - Ford Mustang GT premium convertible California Special Edition. We are keeping all the 4 cars to date as they are in top condition. On Tesla we bought, there is a state subsidy of $8,000 which resulted in flat out discount of $8,000 plus the tax portion of about another $1,000 as this is an electric car. Window sticker price of Ford Mustang was $66,000 we bought was of 2019 model and we paid only CAD 52, 000, with only reading 43 miles on the odometer. It was under clearance with about $14,000 in discount. This way you get to have a brand new car at the best discount possible😊 Thought I should fill in for your viewers and subscribers🙏

Congrats!! I got my first car Toyota Camry in usa 10 yrs ago!! In the last 10 yrs changed few cars when transitioned from bachelor to family!! In my humble opinion It’s good to start with Toyota or Nissan or Honda as they are smooth comfortable for small family etc... based on my past experiences buying cars from dealers, my last car I’ve got from Carvana and overall they’re good in terms of ease of delivery and all.. just need to make sure you able to feel the car well as you can’t see or test drive but you’ll have option to return within some mileage!
