Like the horses look nice for a mobile game, sure. But I don't get how someone in their right mind could spend 300$ on this. And the fact that I fear that mostly children are playing this makes this even worse. I get that mobile games, if they are for free, need like some microtransactions. But 300$ for what-ten horses IN A MOBILE GAME? That's just even ten times worse than SSO. D: Like if I was a parent, and my kid asked me for this, I would rather like let him attend some riding lessons irl. And what is even worse, that's it is random, so it's basically gambling.

I think the gambling aspect makes this more of an adult game. As a kid I'd be desperate for this without any real understanding, and as an actual adult now I'd only do this on occasion just for that gamble because like you said, that's what this is. This definitely isn't kid friendly despite being a "kids game"

I was rooting for you on that cliff, if you wouldn't haven gotten a pegasus my heart would be breaking for you. I feel really bad for the person who spent 300$ and got no pegasus or fantasy horse. I think they should have atleast put in pity pulls or guaranteeds. The fact you got your 2 favourite pegasus makes me so happy! Also I was thinking since you got VIP, would you consider doing a clan? I play other gatcha games too where ofc it's written down that you will get a 5* at this point and it wont be necessarily the one you wanted. But here where you could go without a pegasus even if you pull a lot that's really really scary.... And thank you for making this video!❤️ While I don't like nor want to talk about it usually but maybe someone needs to hear it: I, myself(as young adult tho I still think of myself as a kid😅), have the feeling of missing out on something and I also know I have a higher chance for addictions bcs of my conditions (I have ADHD). So these videos usually help me show flaws and red flags that I shouldn't feel that way, especially bcs of this or that. So I would love to see what they can do and etc bcs I'm curious and maybe it would help people (like me) to feel less of the feeling of need and want❤ Thank you if you read this!

I'm so used to Star Stable being money hungry, but, like... $300??? For a miniscule chance of receiving a Pegasus with ZERO safe guards is absolutely bonkers. Somebody should report them to the Swedish child protective services, lol. Kinda like how it is with SSO at the moment. XD

@@comfortme I didn't know they were based in Australia. But if there are laws they are breaking, then child protective services can have a say in what they do. To ensure that no child is gambling their parents money away stupidly. There should be at least some safe guards, at least to ensure that you can't get the same horse twice at the very least, something that Guild Wars does is that when you buy a skin pack for your mounts, you never ever get the same skins by chance over and over. You are ensured that you will never receive a copy of one skin.

There is no pity count and you can’t check your pull history either, to see how many pulls you have made. The gotcha games I play, have solid guidelines … SE does not. I did email them about this but…. I really wanted a peg. I love to fly in games lol… I did a 10 pull but not all 10 at once. The 10th horse I got was a peg. So, now I can fly…. I’m happy, never need to pull on the banner again.

I was praying so hard you'd get them because $300?! Most gacha games I play have a pity system of 80 guaranteed to a 5/6* at most but having a no pity system is down right evil.

pegasus isn’t necessary for success against other players (usually i see people using magical horses or friesians in top 1) their stats seem balanced around having certain niches and so despite being a 6 star pull they have their own playing field amongst other 5 stars. however, what isn’t very f2p friendly is the fact that VIPs get 25% more xp and 2x the money. so basically makes it really grindy and difficult for people who are playing for free. which wouldn’t be so controversial if the membership wasnt 50 dollars. it’s one time payment but most people nor their parents can’t afford a 50 buck drop on a game that already demands more than that (gambling more real money). at least SSO lets you do monthly payments. i know it would add up to cost more in the end but really most people can’t throw a 50 all down at once, let alone 300. they’re more like a nice mount or a quality of gameplay thing, but still they make it very tempting.

I came here after pulling on the pegasus today... just to reassure myself, that my math was indeed mathing, but my Star Equestrian account definitely DIDNT. I play since 2 days. Yup. 2 days. I saw a lot of the game on servers and really liked the breeding aspect and the wide variety of coats. Quickly liked the game when playing. Got VIP. Farmed up for 4k and give the Pegasus banner a try, BEGGING to not get a Clydesdale, anything else was fine. Well.. my first pull had pink around the door... i always thought this amount of luck didnt exist and even IF it did - not at me. Guess I was wrong since I got the Azure Friesian Pegasus :") I just needed to share this since I cant believe it myself, Im just so happy and stunned... good luck everyone out there, I can confirm, it DOES exist!

This game beats SSO’s prices, Jesus Christ you are crazy for spending that much on a low quality game

As an SSO and Genshim Impact player, i am 1. absolutely BAFFLED at the lack of pity system. 10% seems like high odds compared to other gachas, (Genshin’s 5-star rate is under 1%!!) but Genshin has a system where if you pull a certain amount of times (about $70 of in-game currency) and don’t get what you want, the odds are boosted gradually until that item or one of equal value is guaranteed at $140 worth. (this currency is also available to obtain by playing the game for free, although it is a grind.) Genshin is itself EXTREMELY predatory, but this level of anti-consumer gacha practices seems ridiculous. 2. as an SSO player, i can’t believe that there isn’t an equal response in the horse game community for other horse games pulling things like this. Every time SSO does anything even remotely sketchy, the community holds them accountable. I wish that equal attention was given to the practices of other horse games, because this is just baffling.

You got me into this game a few days ago and I’m having so much fun though I’m having trouble with my resources around the map respawning

This is a known bug actually! There isn't a solid fix but I heard as long as you pick up at least one resource a day, it triggers the reset for the next. Hope this helps!

Good thing i play horse riding tales flying is super easy and u need no money for pegasus

I play Star Equestrian on PC, and i really like it. VIP is a one time purchase. and u cna totally get gems without buying. just takes time. In my opinion the pegasus is amazing, i have one too and i really like it.

That's the reason I hate gachas. How could they put those pegasi behind such a large amount of a pay wall? In SSO you are actually guaranteed to get your horse. But this?? I would never spend a cent on this game. Shame on them to be that greedy. if i had to do a ten pull in the pegasus. It is SUPER expensive because its 900 for 12550 gems for me where i live. And 3 of thoose would cost: 2700.

SO NOT ONLY did they make this a grind for ppl not goin to spend 300, but they didnt even program it properly to GIVE YOU THE DANG HORSE AFTER 10 PULLS??? The WAY you can loose trust in ur community so quick by doing something this expensive and it turns out to be a literal scam. Even if it wasnt intended and was a mistake on the devs part, that s a $300 mistake for some ppl that were WILLING to give u that amount of money. Heck if the psy was $50 i would've spent the money ffs plus the fact there shouldn't even be non magic horses in that expensive pull to begin with btw

I like star equestrian but its literally turning into gambling. I'm glad i don't spend money on the game and earn everything manually. I can spend $300 on something like a small vacation new electronics and tons of other things.
