That Okuma X Series, when you compare specs, looks to be very similar to the Expride, but the X Series is on sale for just above $200 on tackle warehouse right now and has a lifetime warranty

That's my jam!!!!. I honestly can't go anymore expensive than my mint condition used poison adrena I got off marketplace. Threw a chronarch mgl 151hg on it and it's badass!!!

Nice! I love catching smallies on the Ned down in San Antonio.

Great series! Definitely got a few new baits I’d like to try out.

My favorite: The VMC Ned Rig Jig 4pk has the keeper shape of the ZMan Ned Lockz HD together with the OShaughnessy hook shape of the BKK Silent Chaser Draggin Ned.

I can't even tell you how many nice Lake Michigan smallmouth I owe to the Ned Salamanders on a swinging Ned head! Hands down my favorite Ned bait by far! 💰

Man I didn't start using a ned till after the smallies moved out deeper, missed my chance to get em while fishing lake Huron. Now I know why it's called deadly nedly

#1 most bass producing bait for me this year was the Ned Rig. Finesse at that. Let's Go!!

I purchased one of the last generation Expride 6'10" med. and it's phenomenal for Jerkbait's. I couldn't pass it up for $189 at TW last year.

Nice overview. A couple things come to mind that I learned from others. 1) Ike shared an idea on putting a ned bait on a compact jig with the skirt trimmed to the bend on the hook, aka "ned jig". 2) Save some $ on buying ned baits by buying a large BULK bag of Senko type baits. Cut to 3-4" size with scissors. It may not have as much secondary action but gets the job done. Food for thought !

Trd Bugz are awesome. Killed it all year with them on finesse trd bulletz heads with light bfs setup.green pumpkin, bama bug and black and blue Great stuff guys

Can confirm the Z-Man Goby is the best NED rig in the great lakes right now. I fished this all late summer and fall, and they were crushing them. Everywhere from Lake Michigan, Lake Saint Clair, and into Eerie

I love getting new ideas of baits from you guys. I fish extremely pressured and clear water so every little advantage I can get helps. I have a G. Loomis IMX-PRO 831S NRR for neds with a Shimano Twin Power 2500SHG with 5lb Power Pro braid. I'll be switching between 6 and 7lb fluorocarbon leaders. I think if I decide to upgrade my rod eventually, I'll get the NRX+ 821S.

I'm not gonna lie, I been watching these buyers guides but I am not buying much, I mean ok I'm buying some Evo chatterbait to go with the jh , but even though I have plenty of tackle, ( wife's words) But let's just thank the whole tactical family for the time, effort, knowledge, and everything that goes into 3 videos a week let alone these buyer's guide, no one does it better, I mean you should do a buyer's guide just in tb gear. Robo does have the best colors, but i couldn't put the lil general down this spring. Gobyiashi was the sleeper color for me.

I wish the Shimano Zero Gravity rods would come back on the market, they would be the ultimate Ned/Strolling/BFS rods.

I love the Ned Rig. I dont buy anymore of the soft plastics dont get me wrong they are amazing .. i just use ripped up stick worms from my wacky rig days. I sitll have the Zman elaztec neds that they just last almost forever.

I personally can’t stand a spinning rod. To the point I would rather an old school cane pole over one. I’m fishing my NED’S on a BFS setup now. With getting my reel and ordering a blank and building it custom for myself I saved 250$. And have a extra BFS setup now

I’ve had several Palomar knots break while Ned rig fishing at the jig head on the hook set…using Z-man Nedlocks. 6lb FCsniper leader…my other palomars don’t break…any tips? What am I doing wrong?

I mounted mine on the Sensilite 7' Light power for upper finesse. It looks and fishes really well on that rod.

I enjoyed you guys videos. forms us about rods & reels. But I never hear you guys say anything about favorite rods. Why is that?

If you wanted to throw Neds with Curado BFS, what rod would you pair it with?

We've actually used it extensively, we even have some underwater footage of fish eating it in a few videos. Great bait!

Still no one mentions the Zman hula stickz. That’s what I catch the most fish on with a Ned rig.

It's propper Ned season here in the swedish winter (for pearch, the winter river pikes still smash everything in there way) but we also got about 2min of daylight so thinking about to work my way around that with sentence and rattle, heading out tomorow it will be nice and warm +-0 so the reel wont freeze solid to fast. xD Is "rattle ned" anything you tryed out with any sucess or is this one of thouse ides that I shall let just be well ides? xD

Googan makes a nedvwith a rattle built in. Im sure they arent the originals, but not sure who it is. So rattle ned sounds legit idea
