Hello again. Thanks for the insight, caution and guidance as always. I missed watching the budget video on the previous Saturday so didn’t comment. It was a super-to-the-point video on an election year budget drawing the attention to all the required things at the same time keeping all the boundaries open for us to explore. Yes, you have taught us to decide for ourselves on our own but still none of us would mind connecting with you on weekly basis. As you had hinted last year, the video frequency is now reduced to half. Respect all your plans but in case your mood changes, we will be waiting for a weekly video 😛 Maybe a short 10 minute video. Also do explain the bigger market cycle being played out currently with respect to Indian Markets. If I have to put ₹100 in each of the 2 quadrants - undervalued under performers and overvalued out performers then can we deploy 50&50 or go for 25/25/25/25?

No one can predict the markets. But with experience you can sometimes see some scenarios play out. At best, it’s educated guess.

Pretty much the same process. I like going through all charts of Nifty 500. Then Sector wise I see which can be under valued and which can be over valued I.T. is fine. Wont be a rank out performer though.

When you see sector movement, what do you follow Nifty 500 or Nifty 200 or all the stocks traded in the market? 3. When few stocks are rising and few are falling from the same sector, how do you access that sector, through sector chart or number of stocks roses vs falling? 4. 1) If some global market event happens, 30-45%. Else 20-25% 2) Nifty 500 is the base index I follow 3) I look at which have clean rising RS. Then helps you narrow down. 4) For sector wise list, go to NSE India and search for Nifty 500 index. When you download the list, it comes out with Sector / Industry classification

Sir, I have one question, I am working from 3 years so I am relatively young. Should I work & collect some capital in lets say next 5 years then focus on stocks, or do both side by side now.

If I were you, I'd bring at least some money to markets (Equities) I would try to gain some experience with limited capital. In the long run, Capital matters but what also matters is Experience.

Depends on TF Suman In Medium term, HDFC B is under performing and it will continue this way. Relative strength is poor.

I.T. was part of the Quadrant that was attractive from RR perspective. It had done well and will continue to do well. Smaller names will do much better.

I have entered in these overvalued stocks almost at the peak, but have exited none of them. Only because of no RR so less position and SLs are at proper base low. I entered only 0.2% risk of my portfolio. Here I wanted to recollect what I asked once. When you were buying a bank daily on pullback and making losses on each entry, I asked how do you tolerate losses and still keep entering every day. You said its because of lower position size, now I've seen myself following that. I'm v happy because I'm not only learning, but implementing your teachings.

You have to let go of your past losing trades. It seems, the moment you see profits, you want to book it fast. This is a Psychological mistake. Won't go easily. Only way you can correct this is if you make your Exits purely based on pivots.
