    @@metro3313 no, he wasnt confused or confusing, it was pretty clear what he wanted. he wanted to drop 1 point of the front wing, not drop to minus 1 point. Since he got a dumbass as engineer he gave up since he would probably mess all up

    I'm convinced that there is just a window of tyre life that he is unable to drive in. Like he can only drive well when the tyre's are fresh, or pretty worn. But I think that during the middle part of his stints, he's just not able to push, but feels like he should have more grip

    Jenson has always been a master in changeable conditions. He had like a 6th sense when to swap from inters to slick or keep slicks when everyone wants inters.

    @@ar1029 Hamilton didn't have any tyres left so he would have had to change anyway because he was on wet and it got used up. The team asked if he wanted inters or something else. He chose Inters. It was common knowledge inters were faster and it looked like it would rain but dry tyres were not so much behind on pace. Button felt the track better.

    Buemi's Engineer was Seb's in 2008 and later Seb's in Ferrari. Now he is Carlos Sainz' engineer in Ferrari. What a career he's had so far.

    Honestly, Charles is like that now so I guess hanging out with Vettel gives you that wish. Because the fact that Leclerc beats himself so much for each mistake (him talking about Styria on social media shows that) is just a proof he wants to win all the time which is impossible. Also funny how Vettel was angry about one race, he was still a champion.

    Shame David is at C4 and Brundle at Sky, they were a dream team. Crofty, as lovable as he is, shouts way too much and I honestly enjoy the C4 commentary over Sky sometimes.

    I think because the quality of the radio is worse back then. The sound of the engine is somehow got caught by the radio, and your sound have some static on it, so they can't hear well

    In the same lap, McLaren told Hamilton to pit for inters because there was going to be more rain AND told Button to stay out because the dry tyres were still good... Ok, each driver has his own engineers, etc., but you can’t have completely opposite speeches within the same team

    @@timbraska6750 good morning, they both drive for Mclaren, and both drivers were given two distinctive reasons why each driver needed two different tyres - if it was medium or soft I would agreed the disparity between the 2 tyres was a game changer- a comment by Dave Gaming - says it all.. read his comment.. You seem to omit the key aspect of this thread - If Mcalren have 2 different strategy teams then I stand corrected , to my knowledge that's not the case

    All of these radio rewinds show JB winning when Hamilton had some kind of issue. They also highlight the kind of problems that Hamilton had at McLaren. Australia 2010 McLaren screwed Hamilton over by making him pit when he didn't need to and when his rivals, including JB, stayed on their tyres to the end of the race. Canada 2011 he was put into the wall by JB. Hungary 2011, before Hamilton's spin, and when he was complete control of the race, McLaren again screwed Hamilton over by putting him on the softer tyres, meaning he had to pit again, but gave JB, who was behind him, the harder tyres to go to the end, ensuring JB would win the race. That's before they told him to pit for inters because it was going to rain only to tell JB the opposite thing.
