I think we've reached a point that some are just never going to wake up. They refuse to believe that the government is an evil, nefarious entity.

WCPO should give the sheriff's ENTIRE statement. Thousands of people have come to the United States from many different countries specifically to do us harm. The FBI has informed sheriff departments nationwide that it not a matter of IF, but a matter of WHEN the terrorists attack us.

Biden said he would shut down the border if the republicans passed the toughest immigration reform bill. Republican’s politicians love to complain about the border but when they finally are given a chance to fix the issue, they roll over and show they don’t really care. They had a chance from 2016-2018 to pass a border bill yet didnt. when they had the house, senate and potus, they didn’t do crap anything except a tax bill that is now increasing my middle class tax rate. They dont actually govern, which is why I’ll never vote for a republican. At least the dems want to fix the border crisis

I also intend to contact my local police department to see if they are, or intend, to conduct/train locals what to do in an associated emergency, be it syber or armed terrorists.

Finally, a common sense approach to readiness preparedness to possible threats.

A good Firearms Trainer should train their Officers to have a go bag with extra rifle and pistol mags ready with extra shotgun round and at least 1 pistol rated vest and rifle rated vest if not a vest for both.. Extra water in the vehicle and trauma kit.

This Sheriff is doing what many of us in rural Ohio have been doing for some time, preparing for the obvious. Good to see the Sheriff making public moves.

Excellent sheriff!!! BTW, regular citizens can become assistants for sheriff's departments as a posse member or as deputies in some locations. Check with your local sheriff's department!
