Butchering a Grass-fed Beef Cow & How Much Meat We Ended up With

In this video, I show us butchering one of our angus grass-fed beef raised right hear on the family farm. You can see the whole carcass & watch us break it down into the various cuts. Then we way & count each type of cuts to give you a better idea of the yield. Finally we get the total weight of all steaks, roasts, and burger that this beef yielded. I hope it helps you know what to expect if you ever consider processing or purchasing a whole or half of on of our grass-fed Angus beef.

we usually do short ribs. But only if the customer wants it, some dont want short ribs
I promise, not trying to be negative but why are you guys not wearing hair netting while processing?

And just chewing gum over the meat
42% thats horrible and its really less than that, minus the weight of the crates. You guys probably kept some meat.
