Your daughter's reaction to the marinade is amazing. I got my family to watch the beginning of the video with me just for that. I totally get the excitement over raw brass fixtures. I finally fixed a loose doorknob in our living room by installing some cast brass hardware and it makes me so happy whenever I notice it now. Our kitchen is this weird 1970s teal, but one thing I like about it is that the sink is vintage enameled cast iron.

I'm a Christian. But I'm used to praying in a different manner. When I watched your husband and you have a prayer together while in the middle of cleaning your kitchen, I was at first taken aback. Then I thought, that is so cool! Our Heavenly Father is probably so appreciative of our prayers at all times and in all circumstances. We are supposed to always have a prayer in your heart, and you and your husband vocalized that in such a casual passing. It was beautiful and made me think and grow in my own love of God.

I’m glad you saw that for what it is, a simple natural prayer, my husband was leaving the house house and there is no way he would stage something like that, but I got a hate comment over that 😂
